Stainless Steel Measuring Cup with Lid 2L 70 OZ, Large Mouth Graduated Beakers Metal Pitcher with Marking and Handle

My husband loves this pitcher. He drank water from an aluminum pitcher at his grandfather’s house for many years. It keeps liquids really cold.

Love this sturdy 2L, lidded pitcher. It's a great substitute for plastics, glass and enamelware. I use it to allow hot tea/liquids to cool to room temp before I transfer them to an insulated, stainless pitcher with ice for outdoor use or for keeping in the fridge. I'm getting away from using plastics with hot liquids/foods. Borosilicate glass is light weight & easy to use, but it's a major bother when it breaks. Enamelware has limited use in the home, I think, though I did consider a large coffee boiler instead of stainless. I think food grade stainless is the way to go, but there are no steel carafes to be found anywhere, and other pitchers lack lids to keep bugs out. This the largest I could find, on or outside of Amazon. There are a lot of smaller, milk-frothing pitchers out there. This has liter measurement markings in the inside, a shaped pour lip, and I lid that simply rests on top. The lid does not seal in any way. This is perfect for my use. Great pitcher!

This pitcher is great quality but my only complaint is that the spout should be more pointed. If you put liquid at the top fill line, when you pour the liquid into a glass or cup, some of the liquid spills down the pitcher and falls to counter. Then you have to wipe up the mess. If this one thing was fixed it would be a perfect little pitcher!

I am glad I found this stainless steel measuring jug. I use it to fill my electric hot water dispenser. Glad it is large enough to cut down on my refilling trips. I was looking for a stainless steel cup to substitute over my plastic cup I was using, with all the scare lately about large consumption of plastic in our water. I wanted a lid to keep the cup dust free when not in use. I wanted a cup large enough for my hand to stick in when washing. This cup checked all of the above. The bonus for me, is using it as a measuring cup, water jug at the dinner table, watering the plants, and having the ability to heat up on the stove if needed. Definitely the lid is not tight, but realistically this is a measuring cup, not a pot. Overall, it is a multi functional item and destined to last a lifetime.

We get our drinking water via a filtered water outlet that's in the door of our refrigerator. It's cold when it comes out of there, but we prefer to drink the water at room temperature. We used to dispense the water into a plastic pitcher, but recently we've become concerned about microplastics. This stainless-steel pitcher is a great replacement. It looks nice, it has a lid that is a separate piece (not hinged) and it fits well into the space around the fridge's dispenser. It holds a little over half a gallon, which is just about the maximum we'd want to lift with one hand. We haven't used it as a measuring cup yet, but it would serve that purpose well.

Returned this item because the pour spout is defective. You cannot pour anything without making a big mess.

Appears very well made, good quality, solid, and heavier than expected. Nice pouring spout. The lid is loose, which is okay for my purposes. I'm looking forward to being able to use it for many years. I plan to use it mostly for cold water, but I like that it can also be used on the stove. I haven't yet tested it with heat to see if the finish changes. I'm hoping that the stainless steel remains intact (unlike some other "304" stainless steel products from other manufacturers),
