My parents are Italian, so we take our espresso very seriously at home. We've been living in the U.S. for three decades, and we still only drink imported Italian coffee made in a traditional espresso machine. Our favorite one is the single shot of Ristretto, and everyone that tries it (we have family and friends over all the time) loves it. The new Nespresso pods from Bialetti are our new go-to for espresso. Everyone asks me to brew these instead of any other brand. The price is also fantastic, and the aluminum capsules are compatible with the original Nespresso machines.

Good value, and good performing aluminum capsules. However, the taste of this "intensity 11" is on par with a nespresso "intensity 4". It's nice and smooth, but very light. Will likely not purchase again. (Bought 100).

Continuing the perpetual search for Nespresso alternative and decided to gie this a try. Unfortunately, it falls short in taste and intensity. Flavor was bland and pods brewed very light, thin, and watery. Not buying again.

I got spoiled with good coffee when I was working at home and now when I'm back in the office, it's hard to even force myself to drink the free coffee in the breakroom. Apparently I wasn't the only one who has this opinion because a Nespresso machine showed up in the break room for everyone to use. My wife picked these up for me (because she either loves me or is sick of me complaining about how bad the coffee was) and I was so impressed with the quality of the coffee with the rich thick crema on top.....hold that thought, I've gotta go make another cup.

Since buying the machine, I've been overcaffeinated to the point of being able to phase through solid objects. But in all seriousness, I've been trying a lot of good coffee. Also a lot of bad coffee. Okay, mostly bad coffee. I've been desperate for a respite from the off-brands I've been finding in job lot stores and so, when the hallowed name of Bialetti graced my queue, I nabbed it. I have a long-standing love of Bialetti, mainly from the extremely potent moka pot brews I drank all through college (and still indulge in every once and awhile to this day). So I knew it was a name I could trust...but could I trust the coffee? Well, I was about to find out.The cups came in a brick, two of each flavor taped together. In my haste to get a pod out, I mangled one of the boxes so don't do that. If you look carefully, they've got resealable lids on them like a cereal box so instead of ripping into the end to get at the precious bean juice capsules inside like a barbarian, do the civil thing and open it from the top so that it can be resealed, like a gentleman. It came with three flavors: Raffinatto (7), Cremoso (9), and Intensio (42 but actually 10), two packages of each as previously discussed. I tried all three flavors several times and here were my notes:Raffinato: Tastes of toasted nuts and cinnamon. Slightly bitter but a good contrast to the sweetness.Cremoso: Tastes like toasted rye bread with a wicked bitter punch to it. Full bodied.Intensio: Tastes like treacle and pumpernickel bread. Surprisingly not as full bodied as expected. Also surprisingly not so bitter.A very bready trio, I will admit. But they were also very good. None of them tasted stale, all fresh, and none had any off-notes that I could discern. I was particularly surprised by the Intensio which, to my palate, wasn't as intensio as I thought it would be. Rather the Cremoso won that title with it's pungent and bracing-ly bitter aftertaste.All in all, a fine set. But what of the price, I cry, for the umpteenth time. Well, it's $40 for 60, so about $.67 a cup. Not great but not bad. It's expensive in terms of Nespresso compatible pods but it also carries the Bialetti hallmark (which it rightfully fulfills). It's quality coffee at a quality price but not so much that it's prohibitively expensive if bought in bulk. I find it to be an adequate taster pack of their brands for you to try before you buy your favorites at a significant bulk discount. Would recommend.

I have been a Nespresso addict for some years. Although I still do a lot of pour over at home, I also get into time crunches or other times just want a limited amount of good coffee. So, Nespresso. That said, it's good to have some less expensive brew to use when working from home, so I find these metal capsule compatibles are a good way to stretch the home coffee bar dollar - especially since my adult daughter also works from our home.I find these are pretty good flavor, but not quite up to the originals for depth of flavor or intensity. They are pretty good when compared to most other non Nespresso branded capsules, however. The main issue I've found is that you cannot make an Americano out of these - it will be too dilute for most intense fans. It's not really rated for that anyways. It's just that you can usually stretch the originals further if you want more drink. These are best used as espresso. I can do a push at lungo on my machine, but I usually don't.So, good way to keep the home worker caffeinated when they are not clamoring for anything special. It also goes well with snacks and desserts.

Definitely a great coffee pod pack, absolutely recommended for those that are looking for something quick for your Nespresso.

Bialetti Aluminum Nespresso Compatible Capsules,100 count, CREMOSO Espresso Pods, so easy to brew. The Cremoso variety is a dark roast coffee having a rich dark flavor with hazelnut and dried fruit aromas. The English translation of cremoso is creamy. It is rated with a 9 intensity. These new 100% aluminum capsules are intended to keep the ground coffee fresh and aromatic. They are designed to be "compatible with Nespresso Original line machines [and to brew a perfect Espresso] .... The 100% aluminum capsule material can be recycled an infinite number of times," so it is also eco-friendly. I have found these Bialetti pods easy to use and that they make a delightful espresso. I particularly like the cremoso espresso as it has a very creamy aspect along with a nuttiness that is delightful. I look forward to a cremoso every morning and I definitely miss it if I didn't get one. Good brand and a good price.

Un misto tra caffè fatto molto bene con la moka e quello che facevano le vecchie macchinette domestiche.E se vi può sembrare una bocciatura: non lo è. Classico caffè da bere al volo la mattina, quando non ti metti sicuramente a degustare ma vuoi qualcosa che risvegli te e l'intestino :)Le capsule sono di alluminio e funzionano perfettamente con la mia Nespresso Inissia. Le compro abitualmente quando sono in offerta e non ne ho mai trovata nessuna difettosa.La stellina in meno è per il prezzo: 35 centesimi a capsula sono eccessivi per un caffè di questa qualità. La fascia in cui possono competere è quella da 18-20 cents/capsula.Resta la delusione di fondo per il fatto che Bialetti con le Nespresso non è riuscita a fare l'ottimo lavoro che invece ha fatto con le capsule originali per le macchinette Bialetti, molto ma molto più buono.
