Maps are double sided. Bright colors on one side, and the more muted colors on the other. Easy to stick pins in if you mount them to a corkboard.

These maps are two sided, one has the muted colors which I like for a more modern aesthetic in my homeschool room, but also has the more traditional bright colors on the other side if that’s what you like. I noticed that they’re not updated with the new Gulf of America, but besides that these are perfect for our homeschool room.

These maps are great! Each map has 2 sides, colorful and muted, which means you have choices. If I planned to mount the maps onto a cork board and use them as push pin travel maps, having the 2 options would have been great. I already have a large colorful push pin map of the world and I hate it because it is difficult to see some of the pins. With these maps, that problem would be easily rectified by flipping the map over. I am using these maps to map future trips. Because they are laminated, my chalkboard markers wipe off with no residue. Before getting into the details of each trip, I can look at various routes and what sights are along the way. Also, if I decide that I want fewer distractions, I can flip the map over and use the less colorful side. I attached the maps to a large foam board so I can easily write on them. I have attached them to different form boards and did not have any problems with the maps. They are durable and the perfect thickness for me because I can take them off the foam boards and roll them up for storage.

Great maps - look good and easy to read. Wish they were a little less glossy and more matte but they work.

It being laminated is a good idea for you these things. Liked them.

I was so happy to find these maps! They are the perfect size to fit in the wall space that I have.

These are a beautiful addition to my home office, even with the inexpensive frames I put them in. Plenty of detail, and not so big that they didn't work well on a ten foot long wall. I especially like that the oceans and other waterways are in a neutral color instead of that garish baby blue that mapmakers usually use. That gives them a touch of elegance and sophistication, so they almost work as a decorative wall art of sorts. At the price, these are a great value.
