Wonderful tool
This tool has been nearly perfect for me. I've been very happy with all of the Milwaukee products that I've purchased so far.

Professional, both batteries worked, great buy
This was a perfect addition to my tools. I knew I wanted Milwaukee because that is what the professionals use and for good reason and the m18 system is highly customizable so I like the fact it comes with two. This is the perfect impact for husbands, sons, tradesman, or just for having at home. Well worth the buy at a discounted price. If you were just to buy 2 batteries and a charger it would be close to 200$ so this is a steal

love it
I am building a new deck. The old one was built with the wrong screws mixed with the right ones. The fact that I can remove those difficult ones is a tremendous hand and elbow saver. To give it a test run, I removed and demolished very carefully (to re-use the wood) the ground-contact rated pressure-treated 2x4 upper and lower rails, and the 2x2 slats of the same type. I did not even use 1/4 of the battery, and it hammered quite a bit on several screws. The wrist saver function is awesome, I think. I wish it were adjustable so that it would activate later, as sometimes it stopped when I wanted to keep going. The thermal protection is great too. Although aggravating when it lets me know its time to cool down (refuses to apply high torque at that point)....but that feeling is quickly mitigated by the knowledge that this tool and its battery will last a very long time.

Glad I waited.
I have a whole shop full of air tools so I've dragged my feet for *years* buying cordless tools, but sometimes dragging an air hose around isn't an option. I finally hit that point and after a lot of anxiety pulled the trigger on these Milwaukee tools. My point of comparison is a friend's Makita equivalents, and our mutual opinion is that the Milwaukee stuff is as good if not better. "Throttle" control is flawless - it's very easy to control the speed of the tool. It's incredibly light for the power it offers. I've yet to run out of battery even with pretty intense use. The LED lights are nicely spaced and plenty bright. I can (unfortunately) say it will survive a fall of 10' without damage. :/ My only real complaint is that the charger is huge... It's probably convenient for many that it will also charge older Milwaukee batteries, but if you're like me and this is your only tool platform, the charge is just annoyingly bulky. I'm very satisfied with the M18 Fuel system, and will no doubt be expanding my collection over time.

Absolutely amazing tools
Look, I'm not sure why I have probably owned a tool from every major competitor of Milwaukee and at 65 I've had a lot, and I don't want to put too much thought into the amount of money spent over the years and some were more than The price of Milwaukee and didn't last as long as the least expensive tools, I was thinking about it recently when I had a few issues with a driver and then my drill, and the drill wasn't even 3 years old, but I thought to myself that I believed it was for no real reason I've never owned Milwaukee, but if I have to replace the set, actually I don't buy sets, I shop what I think i need and I don't think that much about the price because tool's are or at least for me have always been something that I would not let the price dictate what I purchased. I was determined to own a Milwaukee rather it was the driver or the 1/2 drill, and I purchased the drill a few weeks ago, and I have been literally in love with the thing since the first day. So I had to go ahead and pick this one up and I think I've had it for a total of 6 hours and I think I have been missing out, I'm almost embarrassed or at least feel stupid for overlooking the Milwaukee brand and I have been running around the shop today looking for whatever I could find that would help me use this thing over and over, and I'm sure you will make up your mind based on your needs and what you know about tool's, but if you happen to be in the market for a drill or an impact driver, I recommend you don't overlook these tool's, this driver specifically and good luck with whatever you choose.

For true professionals
The product actually came very well packaged, I knew what I was buying and knew what to expect from the product itself, the only reason I lost the other one was because of personal reason, not the tool itself. I work construction so I know the difference in buying the cheaper Milwaukee products or even worse buying DIY brands expecting them to hold up in a real work environment. The single stop action option to prevent running through and stripping screws is a big sale point for me. This might be to much for some one that just needs an impact for a single project or for something just laying around the house that get used every so often. The five year warranty on this level of product is a big deal too. I've dropped one from a boom lift and had to warranty it and they gave me no issues.

Takes a lot of driving resistance for the impact pulses to start
After buying this product and using it to drive a variety of screws with different sizes and lengths in different types of wood, I actually prefer my older smaller impact driver. The reason is a bit counter intuitive, but this Milwaukee heavy duty driver has so much torque that it takes a lot of driving resistance to trigger the impact 'pulses' which make a dramatic difference in the amount of torque is reflected back to the handle (and operator's hand). The end result is the impact driver can be tough to hold onto and kept engaged with the screw head while driving larger or longer screws. By contrast my older, 12 vdc, small format impact driver requires very little driving resistance to trigger the impact 'pulses' which instantly makes screws easily sink into the material you are screwing them into with very little torque reflected back to the handle. This scenario only holds true for screws up to a certain size-length, and then beyond that my older smaller impact driver stalls whereas the Milwaukee driver definitely wouldn't stall.

The product overall is highly recommended. Only that, they should have included in the description the input voltage rating of the product which is 110V. For countries with 220V standard power voltage you have to purchase a step down transformer to charge the battery.

Love this impact driver. Low setting is nice and slow and high setting is better than any driver I’ve ever used. Everything contained in the case is perfect for me. Great setup.
