its cool that it charges and all but it doesn't feel of high quality its light and flimsy feeling, but it does its job, one complaint it you cant tell its charging unless your standing over it since they put the light on the tip and not shining forward you have to walk up and check if its actually charging.

One thing I knew for sure is that I was tired of buying batteries! We have a Wii, and Xbox, and now an Xbox One. This controller charger does exactly what it says. It was very easy to assemble and I have not seen any problems at all with getting the contacts to meet and to allow the controllers to charge fully. The controllers rest comfortably into the cradles with ease. No clunky hit or miss attachment needing great effort. Just place the controller in the reserved location and you are in business. It lightly sits on the charging spot, so you don't have to press it down to get the charging connection. Might be the easiest to operate of any controller charging station I have ever had.

For the price it's pretty good, the design is pretty sleek and unobtrusive, easy to tuck away unlike the ones with high powered LEDs. The controllers have to be just so in order to get the light to go on indicating that it's charging but it's not much of a hassle. The biggest issue I have with this is definitely the battery life. If you're spending any time over 3-4 hours playing at a time you're going to need a controller swap so plan on having two controllers with one constantly charging a battery pack. This becomes a bit of an issue if you're at all forgetful about leaving one on the dock but not so bad that I'd rate it less than 3 stars.Pros: Good for the money, small sleek designCons: Short battery life (3-4 hours)

great product for charging the controllers for X-box One. Can charge one or both. comes with power packs to replace batteries. Works.UPDATE 2 months after using product: It turns out my kids were using regular batteries and NOT the rechargeable batteries and Ortz recharger, because it didn't work. Only one of the docks actually charged at all, and the rechargeable battery packs had loose contacts. When we got a controller charged, the controller would constantly turn off when playing games and sometimes back on again. The rechargable battery packs are very light compared to a typical battery pack for video game controllers, and it seems the contacts are not well designed for the Xbox-One controller. Unless you enjoy returning merchandise and wasting your time I would look elsewhere for a charger.

Bought two and have been greatly pleased. I think they last about average for a rechargeable battery and are easily swapped out... even mid-game with no problems. I am considering buying two more as spares... since I would hate to not be able to find these again later.

This thing is basically junk. I wanted to like it for the form factor alone; my Energizer dock worked fine for awhile but got increasingly touchy about how the controller seated in the wells. You had to get it just right or it wouldn't give you the red light. Eventually it stopped charging them at all, and so I wanted something that would hold on better. I was tired of wiggling the darn things.Unfortunately, this one has the other problem. My controllers sit fine and the lights helpfully (and thankfully, unobnoxiously) indicate they're connected and give you the impression they're charging. However, when it was working best, the batteries came off the charger warm and half full every single time, no matter the charge time. Even overnight. After a week of use, it doesn't even work that well anymore. Now, one of the two wells literally gives me a dead controller every time. As in, the Xbox button won't even light up at all. One star for being kind of functional, one for good form factor, but a big let down overall. I recommend a different item.
