Used this capacity in my RV AC and now the motor kicks in quick. It function is better than I expected for the value of money. And easy to install, has good thick electrical lugs. Be sure that the old capacitor is properly discharged before removal. Do not cross the leads or lugs to discharge as the spark can damage tool or lugs.

Product worked great and was simple to install. Saved me a $300 or more ac tech call. Just make sure you get the right one for your system.

This product is what it claims and does what it claims. Two things to watch out for, though. Because this is rated for 440 VAC service, it is physically larger than one rated for 370 VAC. My original was the latter type, so this one did not fit in the same clamp in my air conditioning unit, and I had to come up with my own mount. I should have anticipated the size difference based on voltage, but simple solution would be for the makers to publish the diameters and heights of their units. I expect they are all industry standard for their voltage, but home installers won't automatically know that, so size information would be useful. A second item I'll mention is my unit came with some dents in the sides. This is because it is shipped in an unpadded envelope inside a thin cardboard box that is not adequate protection for shipping. This is the main cause of me not giving the full five stars.
