I ordered these for my shower, but can’t figure out how to get them to stick. Help!

Find the place you want the suction cups. Make sure that the hook part is up and not down. Once positioned, pull the hook part down and it will stick. Hope this helps

Would these work outside to hold up very light weight solar string lights ?

I don’t think these would work for what you are needing them for. They work well but I use them to hold wreaths on my fro t door and they fall after a few weeks.
