I should have read the description in more detail - NEEDS ASSEMBLY. As a working mom with three young kids, who has time to assemble 30 party hats? The designs are very cute and you get 6 different ones. My 5 year old loved them for his party. However, they were not easy to assemble - the tab does not fit easily into the slot, easily ripped. Needed to make sure you tie the cord without much slack, otherwise, even my 5 year old felt it was too tight. So if you have any hand arthritis or even just larger hands, quite difficult to tie.If you have time and patience, they're cute enough.

Very hard and time consuming to assemble, and I broke a few in the process.

I took a chance on these for my son’s birthday, but will be returning them.1. They’re difficult to assemble. I ripped the first couple of hats and getting them in place causes creases/folds to appear2. The strings are WAY too short. I didn’t leave much left over at the knot either. The strings end up pulling & ripping the tabs too3. They’re overall cheap lookingI wanted to stick with the theme of the party but I think I’m going to go with plain hats or go to dollar tree instead.

These were great for my sons space themed birthday party. I will say that the tie on spots are very flimsy and I chose to reinforce them with tape. The color and image design were great though!
