The Drano Max work ok, but I had to do it twice because of a bad clog. Quantity was very good for the money. The scent was chlorine, so don't breath it in and open a window. Very versatile, did kitchen and bathroom sink and still had over half left over for future clogs.

The thick gel formula clings to the clog and dissolves it fast. Easy to use — just pour and wait. Has worked every single time I've used it. Great value for a large bottle. A must-have for any home. This is amazing!! I poured half a bottle and left it for about 30 minutes. At first, it didn’t work that well, so I poured a little more and then waited another 10 minutes while the water boiled in an electric kettle, and then added almost 1L of boiling water. And finally, it worked!! This is so great!!!! The water doesn’t build up at all anymore it just drains right away.

I poured the recommended amount down a sluggish shower drain, let it sit for the instructed time, and followed up with hot water. The drain did clear up, allowing water to flow more freely than before. It handled a similar, light blockage in a bathroom sink with comparable results. It's certainly easier and less messy than snaking a drain for simple issues. The gel consistency is a plus, as it seems to cling to the gunk better than thinner liquids. The 80 oz size in a pack of two offers a decent value, ensuring you have some on hand for future minor annoyances. However, this isn't the solution for every clog. For anything more substantial or stubborn, like a truly backed-up drain or a deeper blockage, Drano Max Gel tends to fall short. I was skeptical but also desperate to clean the clog in my tub- from all the hair I lose. This product worked for that hair removal. The drain cleared after I unfortunately had to use the whole bottle. The smell was not overpowering either- so that was a plus

It didn’t have the standard safety cap and the freshness seal was missing. Different consistency than the dran-o I’ve used in the US. Didn’t do much to unclog the drain.
