I may have gotten a defective battery or switch. Mine only lasts about 3 minutes after a charge. Hopefully this review will get the attention of the seller as I'd rather just have a replacement than return it.Update: The pump was charged until light went off. It lasted for one 3 minute shower. The next time I tried to use it it was dead. Still waiting for response from seller (I emailed directly).Update 2: I received a new one promptly from the manufacturer. I charged it but haven't had a chance to test it yet. I will update again if all is well.Update 3: The charge has lasted through several uses so I'm going to call this a fix. Overall I'd give this product 4 stars.Update 4: After a few weeks, the same problem as before has happened. The charge does not hold and the only way to use the shower is to have it charging immediately before use. There is an obvious, known defect in the battery or switch. The manufacturer should not be selling these at this point. I am OK being a beta tester but not for a full priced product. Also FYI, one day I was using it and it would not switch off without disconnecting the battery from the hose. Instead of going off, the switch would go to a lower powered mode. After a while this went away, but I think this is when my charging issue started.____Otherwise, I really hoped I would love this product. It is a great idea.. My husband and I are off-grid and don't have a hot water heater set up yet, so we heat up water on the stove in a big pot and then we would transfer that water into a shower bag to use for shower and dishes. This shower allows us to skip the transferring, and would be perfect if:#1 its battery lasted as long as it is supposed to#2 its pump ran a little bit slower or was adjustable. It uses water up too fast and is not helpful when water is limited.#3 its power switch was somehow attached to the shower head. The separate unit makes it a bit difficult to turn on/off when one is taking a shower with soapy hands, etc..

This little shower head is fantastic. Our water heater broke so we were boiling water and using a bucket and cup for a couple days. Bought this thing and was finally able to take a good shower. Charged fine, lasted longer than ten minutes, and best of all it has very good pressure and coverage/spread! Did not leave me wanting! It would be excellent for camping! The carrying bag, the suction stand and the hook are all perfect for various scenarios. They certainly made our showers easier!

Wonderfully compact camping shower that takes up very little space which is ideal when one is camping. It has a rechargeable port that charges fairly quickly and is covered when connected to the shower. I was actually quite surprised by the strong water pressure I received from this compact item. I feel as though my camping experience has been kicked up a notch by adding this to my supplies. Next summer when I camp at the music festivals I love going to, I will be the envy of all the other campers as I appear fresh and cooled off after having showered in my new camping shower

This portable shower unit does it's job when providing a quick shower. The pump works well and the stream is consistent. So what is the flaw? The battery does not last. It lasts a few months but then fades away like a sunset a Malibu.This is the second unit I purchased as the first one had the same problem. Pump OK. Battery NOT.You will see the same unit under different brand names but I am sure that is the same company. And when you look at the reviews, the battery is the usual suspect. Some reviews say that the battery only provided one use and then it was dead. This is a battery that should provide 2-3 years of service.The battery is rated IPX5 which means it can withstand limited moisture. And while it may have gotten slightly wet from handling, I did not submerge it in water.I contacted the company and they responded by saying that they would provide another battery. So...I will update the review if and when I receive the new battery. Otherwise, be warned that the battery will not last. An extra battery will set you back $9.99

Well, we charged it when it arrived. Worked great for 9 showers. It went dead, so we charged it again. Went to plug it into the shower cord & it won't turn off. The switch on the handle doesn't turn it off. It just runs and runs unless we unplug it from the handle. Unfortunately, our water heater caught fire and this is why we needed something like this. Other than that it was great when it was set up! Just what we needed until we can get a new water heater. Flow rate was more than we expected from a device like this. A 5 gallon bucket is sufficient enough for a shower when able to turn it on & off between soaping up & rinsing off. It took about 7.5 gallons for my wife to shower & wash her hair, but she has pretty thick hair. Amazon is refunding our money, but only as Amazon credit. Not very enthused about that. Would prefer it credited back to my card. Oh well, on to search for a new one!

We bought the older model with the pump that went in the water and it quit working. We used it when we redid our bathroom and it worked great. When it quit working we bought the newer model and I'm not sure if we used it or not. But we are having to redo our shower and so I set it up in the basement and it will not charge! I am so disappointed. It wasn't cheap and we got little or no use out of it. The initial product worked wonderfully for as long as it worked, nice water pressure/flow and just what we needed. So sorry this one does not work and a new battery is not available that I can find.

UPDATE: After seeing my previous review, the company replaced the entire unit at no cost. Which is why the addition of the star. Again, it worked perfectly for a few weeks. We were careful NOT to over charge and would have to charge it prior to each use. Worked great the first few times we used it boondock camping for a couple of weeks. As with the first unit, it did not shut off, and noticed the red light staying on throughout the night when it was NOT PLUGGED IN and very warm. Was worried it would over heat & cause a fire. Frustrating! Now it won't take the charge. Would like to just have my $ back. Not worth another try.
