This weighted lavender eye mask works exactly as described and is a lovely addition to my nighttime routine. I primarily used it right before bed, and for short periods of time, it felt really good and definitely helped me relax. The weight was comfortable for those brief moments, and it did an excellent job of blocking out all light, which is crucial for unwinding. I typically didn't strap it on; I just laid it on my eyes, which worked perfectly for my use. The lavender scent was noticeable during the first few uses and contributed to the relaxing experience, though I did find that it faded rather quickly after that. My only significant caution is that I had to take it off before I actually fell asleep because if I left it on too long, I would start to get headaches. This means it's not ideal for wearing all night, but it's fantastic for unwinding for 10-15 minutes before drifting off. Overall, it's a great mask for quick relaxation and light-blocking, as long as you're mindful of how long you wear it. It fit perfectly. While I didn't usually use the strap, it did fit well. I would not recommend washing it. I haven't tried but it doesn't seem like it's washable.

I went to purchase another of these today for someone else and saw that they are unavailable. I hope this wonderful eye mask returns. I have purchased two of these in the past for myself to help with bad sinus pain, allergies, headaches, and burning discomfort because of dry eyes. If it returns, I strongly recommend this mask. I keep both of mine in the freezer and can switch from one to the other if I need longer with it being cold. It works well with heat, also. I fully expected that the lavender scent would fade over time, but after several years of owning these the scent is still there. To me, it is just enough scent. Not weak nor overwhelming. At one point, one of them fell back somewhere in the back of my freezer and was probably there for six months (I keep them in zip-lock bags). When I found it most of the scent was gone. Remarkably though, the scent actually returned soon after that. I can't tell the two apart now. It holds its cool better than most masks I have had, perhaps half an hour or close to it. You do have to use your fingers a bit to arrange the filling, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. There is enough filling in it (unlike lots of other masks), and it is flexible so it's very nice being able to move it around to the points on my face that need it most. Even when it finally starts losing the cold temperature, I can reverse the mask, move the filling around a bit, and it usually gives me a little more time with it being fairly cool. The weight is also perfect. It isn't uncomfortably heavy, but there is a weight to it that is soothing and helps with sinus pain. I have at times used it just for the weight and the scent at night to help me sleep even without it being cold or heated. My mom got the mask a few months ago when she was having a bad dental problem (she had had a previous root canal that somehow they missed one of the roots, and it was infected and she was having horrible pain high up in her mouth.) It really helped her a lot. There is only one thing about the mask that isn't good, and that is that my hair often gets caught up in the velcro in the back and pulls. To bypass this problem, I try to keep the mask closed to begin with and slide it down over my head without having to close the velcro.

Im a light sleeper and If my husband turns the light on in the bathroom in the middle of the night or uses his phone, the light wakes me up. This mask blocks out ALL light which is incredible. It has a light lavender scent and is also weighted which takes a bit to get used to. It is nice and snug when its strapped around your head which gets a little uncomfortable though. I haven't had a headache yet since buying this mask, but I'm excited to see how it helps in that scenario. Overall im happy with this purchase.

High quality item that fits perfectly. Love the ability to heat or cool mask depending on the type of headache being treated. And the lavender scent adds another layer of luxury.
