The bottle! Oh man! The bottle of this perfume makes it worth purchasing alone. This is a rose dominate scent with caramel and vanilla in the background. I know it has a popcorn note, but the rose and vanilla overpower it. I am not mad about that personally. Lancôme is known for their high quality perfumes, and this is no exception. The packaging and the longevity are top tier. I easily got six hours plus on my skin and clothes. If you enjoy a sweet rose in perfume, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a Pink Sugar sweet with a dash of rose, keep looking. This is sweet but not candy sweet. If you typically do not gravitate towards rose perfumes, I think you would still like this. It is an easy to wear rose. I have Toy 2 Bubblegum perfume, and this rose is easier to wear in my opinion.

My wife is super particular about perfumes. I ordered this with zero expectations that she would like it. I have failed so many times on this front. Stunningly, she loves it. Her text to me: "It is a super weird combo of scents, but it somehow doesn't come off weird or even unusual. I don't know that it is a scent that would stand out to anyone as odd. Really nice every day scent that I would be comfortable wearing out on a casual evening." Idole also has really good sillage or what I would call staying power. A little goes a long way and you still smell it at the end of the day. Lancome makes great stuff and this is no exception. Oh, and the bottle is quite lovely as well so you won't mind keeping this on a dresser. Recommend.

I am pretty picky with my scents now that I've reached my 30s. I prefer earthy, woodsy, spice scents... clean and fresh. Nothing sweet or unnatural smelling. So the first time I spritzed this I hated it. I even allowed it some time to set into my skin and I still did not like it. I showered after and did not touch this perfume for a few days. I tried this again one morning before work - I have to give this a fair shot. Again, did not like the scent immediately but an hour or so later, this began to smell pretty nice. Once it set into my skin and wore off a bit it began to smell quite lovely. The packaging is beautiful. The bottle alone I will likely keep as decor when (and if!) I ever finish this. The scent has a heavy top note of vanilla with a bit of woodsy notes mixed in. I feel this fragrance is more appropriate for the spring and summer months but I personally will use it year round!

Ok, I'm no perfume connoisseur, but the perfume smells ok to pretty good after a few minutes on & gone in about an hour. I am dissapointed these scents do not last for very long on skin, hair, nor that much on materials as I would have expected, except onto paper.?. I sprayed this (Nectar) Idole into an enclosed greeting card and mailed it to my mother in-law, who is also shopping for her own signature brand, at which she replied, "It smelled awfully strong upon opening it." And she let me know she really didn't care for this particular scent for herself. However, she likes more earthy & musky scents. But my question is, "Why it's non-lasting?", it may be because it's one of the lowest in oil concentrations, is my only guess. But "Why would these scents last longer on paper?" This is a mystery to me. So, for the price they charge, it's not worth it to me. I was hoping to receive more of a coconut, floral, gourmand & fruity vanilla w/a light musk under-tone. I had meant to buy the "Idole's Soleil," and somehow I ended up ordering the Nectar instead. I've also tried two of the Lancomes, La Vie Est Belle, newest the "Elixir" in the mini spray bottle, which this was recently gifted to me by my niece who purchased hers from the Mall and this smells the strongest & lasts the longest, but upon first spray, it smelled like a strong version of play-dough, and then it had these other notes I cannot describe, but I still couldn't get that play dough smell out of my first impression of this scent. Plus, I really could not detect the fragrances listed per the reviews I had already read, buttery cocoa?, or raspberry.? These were not noticed by me in the Elixir, as the play-dough scent was over-powering. It is def more of a nightime perfume imo, and really not one I would choose. I've been researching up on top notes, middle tones & base layers, etc. After spraying the Idole Nectar onto a corner of my pillow, and the other two, on each corner of my throw blanket, the scents were almost gone and so faint by the next day. The Elixir was definitely more pronounced, but still was fading, and smelled like play-dough. Same with the one I purchased in a mini bottle, this was the 2nd of 4, out of the La Vie Est Belle family lines, it read under , "More info" "Iris, warm vanilla, earthy patchouli & spun sugar," which I liked the scent of this particular one the best out of the three I've now tried. But again, these are a big dissapointment for the price & for not lasting. I'll continue to search for my favorite.

Comprei esse perfume depois de ter ido numa loja e me apaixonado pelo cheiro dele. Comprei vendido e entregue por Amazon numa promoção de Black Friday + cupom. Ficou excelente o preço. Quanto ao perfume... É muito parecido com o idôle tradicional, sendo que mais docinho e com uma nota de pipoca caramelizada deliciosa. De início não senti, mas prestando atenção não só percebi como foi impossível parar de sentir. Ela permaneceu comigo durante toda a evolução do perfume. Vi de várias resenhistas que esse cheiro da pipoca só fica no máximo os 2 primeiros minutos. Bem, na minha pele não foi assim (o que achei ótimo). Apesar de ser docinho, não é nadaaa enjoativo, sendo possível usar em todas as estações do ano. Esse perfume não é bombástico de sentirem seu cheiro há km de distância, é um perfume elegante, as pessoas sentem mas não nessa intensidade. A fixação me surpreendeu muito. Dormi com ele acordei cheirosa e ainda permaneci cheirosa por um tempo mesmo depois de ter acordado. Eu fiquei bem surpreendida. Ainda não usei ele durante o dia (chegou ontem), mas creio que a fixação tem tudo pra ser excelente nesse horário também. O perfume veio em perfeito estado e é original, com o selinho adipec. Recomendo demais! Já vi que será minha assinatura nesse verão rs.
