Adult Coloring Book: Amazing Floral Designs

I am so surprised at how wonderful this book is. I, quite frankly, expected an average to less than average book. Just goes to show you that you just can't judge a book by its cover. So many times I have been so excited about a book due to the cover, only to be hugely dissapointed. This time, the cover was honestly, "meh".Let me tell you about this awesome book. I haven't had a chance to color a picture, but after I have, I will add some pictures to my review.The paper is bright white and relatively heavy. It's not cardstock, but it's definitely an upgrade from create space paper. The pictures are printed single sided, and the pages are perforated (wahoo!).The line art runs from a few basic, beginners level pieces, but is mostly very intricate, advanced level art. I really wouldn't recommend this for a beginning colorist.I would highly recommend using pencils (but I am a colored pencil addict,), but in all honesty, with a good blotter page placed behind the picture, you could use just about any media you like.I love this book so much that I have ordered a different title by the same artist and publisher. If you love swirls of beautiful flowers, then you will be absolutely thrilled with this book.

No disappointment with this long awaited coloring book by Kathy Ahrens.48 pages of fun, relaxing and challenging floral doodles sure to please the both the artist and colorist.

I have two other books by this author and I really like those a lot. I was not as impressed with the images in this one. There are about half a dozen really neat ones. But, the majority seem a bit repetitive. The pages are single sided. The description is incorrect at least for the book that I received in that there are no colored images included in this book.

There are far superior Adult Coloring Books out there for this price. Both the artwork and the quality of the paper are poor.

Lovely book. Good quality paper. Worth the money.
