I am really impressed with these cameras! For this low of a price, I didn't have the highest expectations. I have an Airbnb and wanted to get some external cameras for the porch and front door so that I can actually know when guests are checking in and if they are having parties, bringing in pets, etc. These have been an amazing purchase for me and allowed me to see what's going on at my home! Installation wasn't too hard and we drilled the cameras right into brick and it worked just fine. You do need a power source so we had to get creative. The Zmodo app is also pretty good! I had been wondering if the app was very user friendly or helpful before purchasing but hadn't seen many reviews that talked specifically about the app. The app is really simple to use and can send you notifications if you want when there is motion. The cameras work well at night and have great night vision. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat!

I initially ordered and tested two of these Zmodo 1080p Full HD Outdoor Weatherproof Wifi cameras. They were easy to install and set up. After testing for a few weeks, I verified their reliability. I then ordered additional cameras for my system. The image quality is excellent, both in daylight and at night (with the built-in IR Illumination). Depending on placement of your wireless access point, a camera may experience an occasional dropout, then reconnect. Thru careful antenna and wireless access point placement, these dropouts can be minimized. Most of my cameras remain connected 100% of the time. I have one that stays connected about 99.9% of the time (1-2 minutes of dropout per day), which is acceptable for my use. I would recommend these cameras if you are looking for, or require an installation free from a centralized PoE (Power over Ethernet) wiring scheme. Each Wifi camera only requires access to power and a good wifi signal.

I really like these cameras. I have had them for about three months and they have been very reliable. The image quality is good for both day and night viewing. The Zmodo app on my iPhone works well to access the cameras on demand. There is also a motion detection feature that will record for about 10 seconds after movement is seen. Another nice feature is that you can access the cameras via internet using the Zmodo website so that you can see it from a larger screen on your desktop/laptop.I installed two of these outdoor cameras under the eaves of my roof to monitor the front and back of my house. They connect to my home wifi network router so the only cabling needed is to plug each camera into a 120v outlet. I prefer the power cord compared to battery powered cameras so that I don't have to periodically change out dead batteries. However, one minor inconvenience with the power cord is that the small "mini-usb" connector located midway between the camera and the plug that goes into the 120v outlet is not really "weatherproof". This was easily fixed by wrapping the connector in a little bit of plastic wrap covered by electrical tape. After downloading the Zmodo app to my iphone, connecting the cameras to my wifi network was simple by just following the instructions that came in the box.

I love these cameras. The video and night vision is great. There is a newer version that has better night vision distance and supports 5ghz wireless. I have had absolutely no issues at all other than getting power to them. Install was simple and the swivel bracket allows them to be aimed easily. They show no signs of wear in the weather and video is perfect. The application is probably more important than the cameras though as that is what you are going to be using most of the time. The app is better than most I have used, easy to get to the video and easy to get historical events.

First of all you need to pay for a cloud service. The free thing is unusable. The motion detection does not work 80% of the time (despite restarts and configuration adjustments). It gives false motion detection and misses real motion. E.g. I managed to get to my car (parked in front of the camera) and drive off with no motion detection. The motion clips are very short. The cloud service needs work (it was horrible at the beginning, now it is a bit better). The payment system does not work. The web site has issues. I deeply regret that I can no longer return the cameras and switch to something better. Do not use Zmodo.The price of the cameras is good, the video quality of the cameras is OK, but the whole thing is unusable and kind of expensive.

These units are great, good picture and easy to setup. Wish they had a speaker
