Best investment Ever!
TABLE: This pool table has been the best investment we have ever made! It's small enough that it fits perfectly in our game room with lots of room around it, but yet big enough to give a real pool playing experience. It comes with full size balls and sticks, both of which I recommend be replaced as mentioned below. With that said, I would definately recommend this table and if I ever needed another one, I would certainly buy this one again. My wife and I have pool parties pretty much three days a week and play at least twelve games a week. It is so dang much fun! CHALK: Don't assume that chalk that comes with the table is the right color to use for your table. If your table is black, then you need to purhase black chalk. If you use the blue chalk on a black surface, your table will start showing it quickly. Get the right color of chalk for your table. STICKS: The sticks it comes with will need replaced immediately. Don't go to walmart thinking you will get a decent cue. None of them are straight. Go to your local billiards supply house and get yourself some real cue sticks. They are not that much money, ours were $20.00 a stick becaue we purchased 48-inch long sticks to give us more shooting room without bumping the walls, and they are weighted and balanced and feel natural in your hand and will absolutely kick butt over the sticks this table comes with. BALLS: The balls are adequate for exciting play for a few weeks. My wife and I have had an absolute blast playing, however the balls it comes with start showing signs of wear pretty quickly. After about one month of playing which for us is about 48-games of play, the balls really started showing major signs of wear. The balls started showing bruising and developed tiny chips and cracks. We looked at Amazon for purchasing some high quality balls, but after reading the reviews of balls, it seemed very risky. I would highly suggest what we did - We went to our local billiard supply house and purchased a set of high quality balls for around $200.00 bucks. And before you say "Oh I don't want to do that"... Let me tell you something. There is a massive difference in the pool balls. The play we get on the new high quality balls compared to the balls that came with this table is like comparing a yugo to a rolls roice. The high quality balls we purchased roll far better, they return better, they roll straight, they shine like a cat's ass and just keep going. After about fifty games of pool, they still look new, while the balls that came with the table were adequate for a while, they look like crap now. Do your research on balls. It will be an added expense, but believe me it will make your pool playing one-hundred times more enjoyable. Many of the high quality balls offered on Amazaon come with a certain risk. After doing tons of research, there are many reviews that talk about paying for high quality balls, but receiving junk, as if someone puchased high quality balls, then returned the package to Amazon with previously owned junk balls only to be resold as new high quality balls. So take it from me, go to your local billard supply house and talk to someone who knows the game and the balls. They will set you up with the right sticks and the right balls. It is worth the added expense. RECOMMENDATION: I would definately purchase this table again, but replace the cues and the balls, and make sure to get the correct color of chalk.

GREAT!! Not the same as the Fairmont!
FAT CAT table is awesome!! ......So we initially purchased the hathaway/fairmont 6 ft table that looks JUST like this one but it's less expensive - we returned it due to serious crowning issues (non-level playing surface). As I was searching for another table I almost skipped this one because in the photo looks the same (but black vs blue cloth).....but I read a GREAT review (read "Robert San Diego"s review!!! - thanks Robert!) in which he explained a similar issue with the hathaway table & how this one did not have crowning issues. FURTHER - if you pull up the two photos online and REALLY look closely (I'll post one & hope it stays up) you'll see the FAT CAT has an added exterior "edging" around & under the table edge (look just below the silver corners and you can clearly see a 2-3" added support around the table. This might be the only difference, but the FAT CAT is CLEARLY SUPERIOR, and we saw differences right out of the box. We just finished playing for the first hour, out of the box, and the leveling is almost perfect! The table plays & feels completely different to me & I'm certainly no professional. I also really needed a "bigger-small" table that felt like a real table, we have really enjoyed this table right away - nice that the table can tip and you can fold the legs in, huge benefit for our small rec-room that sees a lot of sleepovers & gaming activity. I will say that I wish the felt had been tan instead of black, everything shows on the black; but it is a rec-table, not a serious pool table (but certainly good enough that our 6'2" neighbor had to be sent home he was having so much fun playing)! I did buy some nicer pool cues (like most reviews state) but we like the regular size balls and have had great fun thus far. For around $300 - amazing bargain to have a pool table in our house! **1-year update** we still love this table, it's not quite as "flat" as when it was new. It's heavy, so as we have moved it back & forth around our play room, I think the 'total level-ness' has diminished some. But it still works great with little obvious drift and our kids really enjoy having it! Great for sleep-overs and parties, the teens enjoy the table!

I've had this table for 8 months and so far...
First off this is a great table for only $460 after taxes n everything. You will definitely have to get a new pool cue because the ones provided feel hollow/light. Every once in a while I have to adjust the table with the little leg leveling things at the bottom of the table which isn't a huge deal. You'll need 2 people to set it up ( just flipping it over after you've locked the legs in place). It sometimes warps but it's very minor. In all honesty why it's 4 stars is because the bumpers/rails aren't true at allll. You can hit a 1 rail shot but don't think you will hit a 2 rail shot. Lastly to make the table a bit harder and truer get the 1 7/8" balls. It comes with the standard size balls 2 1/4". They've all held up great but just a little big for the table. The black table does show the blue chalk(provided) quite a bit but I just rub it off after every hit but the "felt" isn't real felt but honestly it isn't a huge deal. Overall I do love the table and if you only have room for 6' table this one is pretty good and everyone loves playing on it. It's showing a little wear but not bad at all and I play like 10 to 20 games a day! Side note...It will not make you a better pool player though if you don't get the smaller balls because it's pretty easy with the standard ball size.

Glad I purchased this one!
This product did not disappoint! It is wayyyy heavier than I anticipated. Once delivered, it became very obvious that lifting this table was two man job, not a man and one woman job. I under estimated its weight. I have heard bad reviews about the condition of packaging but upon arrival, my package was delivered in superior condition. My two grown sons were impressed with this table. I was surprised by their approval. I expected them to say the table was too small or flimsy. This table is a nice size, not too bad at all. Obviously it isn't regulation but it is definitely sizable enough to enjoy playing without feeling like it being a kiddie pool table. It is super sturdy, no shaking. It fits just right for my 13ft x 10ft rec room. Moving around to play is sufficient though on a couple of angles, shooting certain shots are a smidge awkward. Therefore I plan to purchase a couple of shorter sticks specifically to aim those shots more comfortably. The quality of this table is great for it not being a slate pool table. Overall, I am very, very happy with it. Now that it exists in my rec room, I would not be happy without it being there. I have never owned a pool table. I had lots of apprehensions deciding which one to buy. I am very glad that I have this now. It suits my purpose just fine. I am a recreational player, not a pool shark. Pool sharks know better than to purchase a table that isn't slate or that suits their progressive needs. This table is very suitable for the recreational player both adults and children. It appears that me and my family are having a lot of fun with this table. The cues are very light weight. I am fine with it as a woman. I may upgrade at some point but I am in no hurry, these sticks work just fine at the moment. I do support the purchase this table should someone be considering it.

Updated 2024 not Great little table. Check out all the pics.
Great product for the price. Arrived in a large wooden protective layer you can see a pic of it by my garbage. Only a small scratch on the bottom of the table that must have happened at the factory because it was sharpied to blend in. Felt plays a little slow but that’s good since it is a small table. Rails are not super responsive but also good for a small table. All in all it seems to have the right attributes for a table this size in my opinion ( I am no pro). The balls look nice but the color on the 3 and 11 balls look way to orange to me but it’s not a big deal. For some reason I keep miss-cueing on the cue ball ( I am using a quality cue). After about 20 games the cue ball doesn’t miss-cue much any more. The table is good but the accessories are just to allow you to play as soon as you get it. You will really want to get a better everything because they are the lowest quality they could get away with. The cues are straight with what looks like a 13mm tip, very beginner type cue. The brush is to small. The chalk is blue when it should be black to match the felt. The triangle rack is super, I mean super thin and bends while trying to make a tight rack of balls. I have not even bothered using the cues yet since a I have decent cues already. I used a level setting up the table and it took moments to get level even checking at multiple locations. No crowning yet. I am very pleased with the look and play of their table. Oh and this thing weighs a lot while in the packaging. The shipping company said it was 260lbs. Obviously not as much as a slate table but don’t expect to be setting this up or moving it solo. You will need about 5ft on each side to play properly so the space needed is 13x16 ft for this 3x6 ft table. Update. After a month the felt is showing some wear. This was from the balls that came with the table, they produce to much friction and burn the felt a bit when hit at high speed. I got some balls made of phenolic resin and they don’t burn the felt. I have been playing about 5-20 racks a day on this over the last month. If you want to keep it looking nice use decent equipment, phenolic resin balls, cues that do not have phenolic tip(break cue). The table is starting to be un-level at 2 corners that are diagonal from each other, this happens the be where the 2 support screws in those legs have also managed to come loose twice now. I am no longer able to get the table perfectly level. It’s still playable but you will see some odd rolling in those corners at slow speeds. I still like the table and am having them send me a new one. The new table delivery includes pick up of the first table. Update 2024 Play bed won’t hold its shape, sag in the bed where there are no supports. Table is basically unplayable now. I would say it was tolerable for about 1 year. Table needs support running the length of the table in addition to supports side to side. Also the should increase the thickness of the wood for the play bed. I no longer recommend this table.

Love it!! Great table, poor accessories
This table rocks. I needed something to keep busy during quarantine and ended up with this. I've played about an hour a day over the past few months and it's held up great. It's a little small for 8 ball (gets crowded), but great for 9 ball. The surface is surprisingly flat/true. Not perfect, but no obvious dips or anything once you level it with the screws on the feet. It is really easy to set up/take down. When properly set up, it is surprisingly rigid. The "cloth" is just felt glued to PVC, and it's not the most durable thing. I switched to using a soft tip VS a hard tip on my cue, as miscues were starting to damage the surface a little. You really need to get new balls and a new cues though. While the table is excellent for the money, it only gets better with legit accessories. If you spend another $50 to 100 to swap these items out, you can get serious practice in. When you play a real slate table, you will definitely notice your improvement. Overall 10/10 product. Freight delivery went smoothly as well.

Decent table for the price point... however didn't arrive in 'new" condition
My 10 year old son saved up his money to buy a pool table, and after reading hundreds of reviews of many tables, we decided on this one. Overall, I think it is going to be a decent table for him. We just set it up, but it seems pretty sturdy. The balls have weight to them, the cues seem ok. My complaints are mostly cosmetic, however with one manufacturing defect? The box arrived extremely beat up and open. There were big holes on the sides of the box that looked like something was jammed into it. Then upon opening, the top surface (the surface you see) is pretty badly scratched up around the outside. The pockets have plastic around them that is secured with a staple... however, our staples will not stay in, and the plastic will not stay in place... We have tried our own staple gun with no success... It looks like we will be trying to glue them on. If the table itself wasn't so heavy, I think we would consider just returning it to be honest and looking for another one elsewhere... I am glad we got it when it was on sale. It is definitely not worth the full price.

Truly skeptical
I was TRULY skeptical as to this product. I mean FOLD OUT LEGS? BUT, it is perfect for our room. The quality is actually better than the 7-8 foot ones you have to build. This is really stable and perfectly level right out of the box. The BOX it was packaged in was amazing! VERY thick and heavy boards and well insulated. it is true as others have stated the cues are junk, and yes, they are not being used. But that is no reason not to buy. I was also skeptical as to the size, but just over 6 feet of playing surface is just fine. It is better than I thought and you still need skill to make the shots. The bumpers/rails are true and can actually make the shots you can make at any bar or other table. Obviously this is not a thousand dollar (or more table) but it is perfect for the price. It is HEAVY and you do need 2-3 people to place and flip over once the legs are locked (with a bolt). The top is not "felt" and i wish it was not black, but seems sturdy and rolls great. All in All a great purchase and well worth the price.
