Ordered in October of 2024 almost a yr later and it's causing electrical issue. Acts like it's not charging while driving but passes the auto parts store test. Biting the bullet and buying a oem altenator. To good to be true. Spend the money on a good one!

Arrived early... Good match... Still working as a couple of weeks after installation..

Been working for 5 months ok. Had a glitch and so looked at warranty. Found "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website". Called A-Premium (2 year warranty) and they say they only warranty things bought direct from them, and to contact the seller. The seller here is PremiumpartsWhosale. They are apparently located in Hong Kong. Could not find a website. Contacted through Amazon but it said may take 2 days to respond. Emailed them and they did respond eventually, but as the product for now is still working will wait and see on this one . . .

So this alternator was purchased because the alternator in my 2016 Dodge Grand caravan was going out. And I thought I would share what I did to install it. I watched videos of other people doing the installation and my friend happens to have a garage with a four-post lift. Certainly comes in handy when trying to install an alternator in the bottom of this car. So one video showed removing the hoses to the coolant to bring the alternator out the top. But I found it much easier to remove the air conditioning compressor first, then remove the alternator that sits right above it. I disconnected the coolant lines from the compressor and the coolant did leak or evaporate out really fast. Once the compressor was out, undoing the bolts for the alternator and removing the plug and disconnecting the cable, it fell right out. I was holding it while doing so, so it didn't fall out. And then installing the new one was fairly easy. I say easy but this was a very time-consuming when you don't have the right socket. I had two sizes with me and the 13 mm did most the work, but I either had one that was too long or one that was too short and had to go get a socket that was kind of in between and that worked perfect. I have never installed an alternator in this vehicle before, so I'm sure if I knew what I was doing from the get-go this job would have taken maybe a couple hours but it took me more like four and a half. Really the only thing I have left to do is recharge the air conditioning. After the installation and putting the serpentine belt back on, when I fired it up, the battery check engine light was no longer lit. Time will tell how long this lasts, so I will either post another comment down the road saying how it's going or you'll definitely hear from me if it dies in the next few weeks.

It's also pretty to look at because, as somebody else said, it looks totally brand new and not a reman. It's only been o e day since I installed it but so far it works great!

We purchased this Alternator for my 2012 Dodge Journey. Seems to be working fine. Have been using for a couple of months. Everything seems to be working fine. We were shocked this Alternator was half the price online. Shop around before making your purchase. It looks like a quality made product. But one never knows until they actually are using it.

at the begin every think was good but after 7 mouth the alternator died it no longer works the is no raison , it s a bad quality

Alternator dropped dead on my 2014 Grand Caravan; didn't look to head to tackle. Price was reasonable for this part; ordered this and the recommendations (belt and tensioner). Nice shipping box; delivered on a Sunday at 12:00 PM, had it installed by 3:00PM. Came with a test log as well! Very impressed.

I wanna share my experience to prevent damage for other car owners. The alternator works and giving Standart 14.5 v but, if you trying to jump your van with dead battery on it, the alternator giving overvoltage 18 to 19v which a bit dangerous for computer and all multimedia, my display start flashing and after 10 min of work the car been shuted down automatically.
