Affordable quality.
I'm happy with everything from D'addario, but honestly Ernie Ball or GHS are fine quality too. I buy a few of each and can never decide which I like best so I just stock up when they're on sale. The multi-pack is your best value once you decide which ones are for you. These get high marks for playability, excellent tone, tuning retention, and comfort. Highly recommended.

King of strings
Stop the research, let this be the last review you read. These are the best strings money can buy if tone and feel our at the top of your priority list. Personally I could care less if mediocre sounding strings resist corrosion longer. I have tried coated & non coated in various gauges from the big names in strings. The 9.5' exl120+ strings are magical. The feel and control of this set are incredible. You can be effortlessly expressive in a way that feels harder to do with other sets, especially in larger gauges. There is absolutely no sacrifice in tone for anyone not playing Norwegian post hardcore doom metal. Tuning stability is excellent even with huge bends. Once tuning becomes difficult to maintain after a few months, order more. Recently I needed to change strings and couldn't find these I bought a pair of very popular coated strings. I was floored when I heard the difference. It sounded like a pillow was stuffed in front of the speaker and no variable other than the strings into blame. I was playing into a Helix using the same snapshot. I couldn't wait to cut the coated off!

I love these!
D'Addario strings are always excellent. I like the 3-pack option. I have never spent $20+ for a single pack of strings so I can't compare them to the boutique stuff that's out ther, but these work great for me and they never break.

PERFECT!
If 9's are to light and 10's are a bit too much then try these. I've been using these for a few years and I'm not sick of them yet so that's saying something to me. They feel perfect for me and I won't mess with that!

Good string-Great gauge-Why cost more per pack for 3 pk?
Using 120 EXL+ Some years ago, I decided I didn’t like 9's or 10's anymore, so when I discovered 9.5's, I got excited. I’ve tried every other 9.5 set out there and none feel like the middle ground between 9 and 10 like these. They’re perfect for me gauge/tension-wise. I also love that they’re pretty bright sounding without being harsh or brittle sounding and I can get controlled feedback without killing ears or it getting out of control too fast. *** They seriously need to do something about quality control though. Inconsistent surface on unwound strings, strings bent in random places and I had five high e strings break on me in five different sets out of the same bag on first tune up to pitch about 8 months ago. Only had one do that since, but I never break strings on my main guitar, so it’s not the guitar. Break one and you loose a set if you never break strings and never have a need for the singles. *** Don’t buy the multipack. 3 pack = 13.99 and 3 single sets comes to 13.14. We should be getting a discount for buying multiple sets at once, not be charged more. I’ll keep that 85 cents, thank you very much-

D'Addario strängar
Perfekt tjocklek!

Sweet sound
Excellent strings for my strat copy. Light to the touch (onviously) and pure sound. Great price.
