White Line Set Rough In Box Hvac Contractors Termination Point for Line Set Condensation Drain and Low Voltage Wire

Used these black line set boxes on a new construction product. The line set boxes can be installed inset or outset and have a 1/2" lip to accommodate outset / inset applications. I used these on a project with a 3/4" rainscreen furring strip over 7/16" sheathing and 3/4" nickel gap t&g siding. The result was an air & watertight application that left the line set penetrations looking super clean and beyond professional. Would highly recommend and will not be buying anything but these for HVAC line sets.

This is the cleanest way to get your electric and lineset to the condenser. Installed easily and looks clean and orderly. Would definitely buy again.

Worked out really well for a line set on a metal building wall (R-panel).

There should be an extra picture or info in description to let people know it is now available. Nobody wants to pay shipping twice and/or wait for parts/ find out the hard way. ___________ Good news is that its the best out there, yet only because there are no worthy alternatives. Nail fin is thick and narrow. J channel is sooooo much wider then the nail fin, this cuases the j channel to cock to the side because there is only support on inner edge. Which brings me to another issue. There is no reason NOT to offer this with a built in j channel or a removable one(cut out at bottom to get over the lines) I dont care how good you are, making a 4 pice J channel on small scale such as this looks cheap. Do it right and clean or dont do it at all, but hey its cheaper this way so why would the manufacturer ever bother.

Great product when in a pinch, unit were stolen and lines were cut way back so we were able to repair with no stucco repairs needed thanks to this product and it looks good.

I installed my own heat pump system. The method I most commonly saw of just drilling a hole in the siding and filling in the gap with putty always seemed pretty janky. This is a much nicer solution, in looks and functionality. I only wish it came either pre drilled or with knockouts. It's hard to make a nice hole in such thin plastic.

Large enough to accommodate the line sets for a 5 zone mini-split system. Very easy to install before siding, just cutout an opening, screw to the wall and tape/seal around it. Probably much more difficult to install after siding is on.

This box is alto thicker that I thought it would be. That is a good thing. It allows for a very clean and professional finish to the lineset rather than them just coming out a hole or having a drier vent cap cut over it.
