I updated this review after more experience with the logger. Initially I was frustrated by the user interface and software, but after figuring it out, I appreciate the capability of this miniature device.Printed instructions are minimal, vague, and unclear, but you can look up a more detailed manual online.The USB connector is hidden under a cap that has finger-gripping ridges but is so tight-fitting, I had to use large pliers to remove it. I think it is intended to be waterproof. The battery cover looks as if it will fit in two orientations, but actually only fits one way around, which is not obvious.However, the logger works well and is an amazing bargain. While it is connected to a computer, you can set date/time and other parameters such as logging interval. The actual accuracy appears to be about plus-or-minus 0.2 deg F. I had no way to verify the humidity values.For me, the two-button interface on the logger is unintuitive, but I got used to it.While the logger is connected with a computer, you can set parameters such as local time and logging interval. With a memory for 32,000 data points, you can store a lot of readings very rapidly. Alternatively I left it running in a basement for a week, logging temperature every ten minutes. The stored data can be exported in several formats, including .xls, .pdf, and .txt.Once I overcame the nonintuitive aspects, I bought a second logger.
