Great for autocross and racing.
Bought this for my 2016 Fiesta ST. I compete in autocross and tire pressures are essential to car control. The built in TPMS sensor from Ford is junk. Essentially they tell you nothing other than you have low tire pressure in one (possible more) of the wheels. You'd have to go and take off every single valve cap and test with a pressure gauge. With this I have real time pressure and temperature info with alerts to let me know when my tires are above or below a set threshold. It would be cool if you could connect a phone or laptop and download the data and see how temperatures get affected at certain turns. The display on this one is easier in direct sunlight. It doesn't get as wash out as the other Enklov I tried. The display is actually LCD and more easily visible in than the Enklov LED numbers. The Enklov version is too hard to read in the sunlight. Also there is no nice place to mount it on my Fiesta because the mount limits the positions you can place it in. There is a wire that is always connected to 12v accessory plug. The wheel sensors are a bit smaller. They look like they're 1/4 to 1/3 bigger.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CHDD45/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Areas to improve. The data displayed versus my pressure gauge is within 1 PSI which is reasonable. I don't see a way of calibrating the unit though.Bonus: For Fiesta ST owners there is a small space on the console that no one seems to know what to put inside other than a wallet and possibly cell phone. Well this fits PERFECT.

Life Saving
Work as described.I was driving to work and about 2 miles before getting on the Highway, the monitor of one of my tires started beefing as the pressure started dropping. One of the tires had a severe air leak and the monitor was able to tell me in real time. I could drive to a nearby tire shop before getting on the highway. The tire was rotting from the inside and I had it replaced. This happened today. 2 days later after I bought this. Its amazing and life saving.

Helpful but not accurate!!
Ok so I got this setup and installed it easily enough, even the instructions weren't too bad. After driving for a few minutes it started registering all four wheels. Now comes the disappointing part. The readings are always off, sometimes don't make sense even. The readings are always usually about 2-4 psi higher than actual. I tested this a number of times, after setting the front wheels to 34psi and rears to 38psi, I drove and after about a minute the display showed 38 front and 41 rear. SO I thought ok, I can live with that. Now the display won't charge using the solar panel. It's in the sun the whole day, but if I charge it using the USB cable it will charge fine and stay for a couple of weeks but then start to die. I guess I'll just have to charge it every time the battery gets low.I'm only giving it 3 starts because once it did alert me to a tire that was losing air, so I had enough time to go to a tire shop and get it fixed before the tire got totally flat. So it is helpful from this point.UPDATE: It's been about 18 months now since I got this product and I think the unit more or less dead! First as I mentioned before, it lost the ability to charge through the solar panel, now I can't even charge it using the cable. When I connect it to a USB port it will come on, and I left it connected overnight just to be sure. As soon as I removed the cable it started beeping and the battery icon showed empty. Could be the internal battery is dead and not taking a charge any more, but I don't see how I could replace it, and without being able to replace it, I now have a pretty looking paper weight.UPDATE 2: Well I decided to contact the seller in a final attempt to see if this thing can be brought back to life. So basically they replied that the unit is not charging because "it has died" (ya think!?) And that as it is out of the one year warranty, they cannot help me.Well, I still think it's nothing more than a dead i ternal battery so I'm going to try to break into this thing, I mean, at this point what have I got to lose.I'm reducing the rating to 1 star because obviously this thing is designed to last not much more than it's warranty.

and highly recommend it, especially for RV owners with dual wheels
The only issue with this item is the instructions and setup are a little confusing, but once done all is well. I found it kept accurate displays of tire inflation. I regret that I did have a problem after about 6 months of on the road use, but it was quickly and cheerfully replaced. Remember this is not a $300.00 unit, but it works just as well. I would definitely buy this again, and highly recommend it, especially for RV owners with dual wheels. Bob C.

Wrong tire pressure if and when it is displayed
This tire pressure monitor will make you think you are monitoring your tires. However if and when you see numbers on the display they are wrong and the tire temperature does not change. On my first trip using this monitoring system, I drove for 30 minutes before the monitor showed any data on the display. When it finally showed the tire pressure all 4 tires showed different tire pressure. All my tires are set to 75psi and none of the readings showed any at 75psi. On my last trip (4hours) I drove the first 2 hours with no pressure or temperature data on the screen. After 2 hours of driving the screen showed the tire pressure of one tire at 81psi when my tires are all set to 75psiThis tire pressure monitor will give you a false sense of security.I would not recommend this product..

Works great for travel trailers
This is great for a travel trailer. I have a quad cab pickup with a 36’ travel trailer and It worked perfect on my last trip to keep an eye on my equipment. My only complaint is the instructions are a little difficult to follow but if you are electronically inclined, you can figure it out. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add for a travel trailer.
