Thickens well, use sparingly
I like this no-carb alternative to arrowroot or cornstarch to thicken my tortilla soup, but it does require a different technique. Sprinkle a little at a time from the included shaker jar (largest holes) into rapidly boiling liquid and whisk briskly the entire time. The directions call for 1 teaspoon of thickener to 1 cup of liquid, which might work for a very thick gravy, but I probably use a tablespoon for a 6-quart pot of soup (I haven't actually measured it since I'm sprinkling). I'm disappointed that it's out of stock right now and look forward to ordering it again.

Keto free option for gravy
Great at thickening and no carbs, but quickly can turn gummy.
