I actually really LOVE this little light, it's EXACTLY the kind of thing I was looking for. I needed a little bar light to go underneath the cabinets above my monitors, something unobtrusive, and this really fits the bill. The fact that it is removable and portable is a nice little feature, though I doubt I'll use that feature for my current needs. The three different light colors/warmths, AND the fact that it is dimmable to a great extent are PERFECT for my needs. I needed light directly on my workspace and in front of my monitors, bright enough to light my desk specifically in an otherwise light room, but I also occasionally like to work at night, and don't like to advertise the fact that I'm here, and this little light is perfect to light my workspace without shedding a lot of light elsewhere. I can now work in the dark, yet still see what I'm doing, and dim the light to whatever level I need. The switch being about a third of the way down the cord is also perfect. I've attached it to the sidewall of my desk with the included clip (used the other one to clip the cord out of the way down the outside of the desk). I appreciate that it is NOT on the light bar itself - it's out of the way, but within reach, and I'm not constantly fiddling with the light bar, potentially causing problems with its placement or attachments. The cord is the perfect length for the light bar to be centered over my workspace, and the cord to drape behind the monitors, down the side of the desk, and wrap around to the front of my computer tower to plug into a USB port. (If I wanted to use the included wall plug, it might have *just* been long enough - but I might also have wanted an extension cord of sorts.) The two different styles of magnetic 'clips' are a great idea - you can use and place it in a variety of angles or configurations quite easily. I only needed the L-clips, but if I were using it strictly on a flat surface, the discs could be useful. The one caveat is that, yeah, the 3M adhesive foam bits are pretty crap. The first one, when I pulled off the backing, the actual sticky part came with it - so it was clear that piece was going to fail. The other one failed an hour later as well, and that was after leaving the adhesive to adhere without the weight of the bar for that hour. (And the bar itself is quite lightweight.) So - find yourself a different, better adhesive, and you'll be set. Probably either some genuine 3M Command strips, or those Command 'plastic velcro' bits, if you want something that's easily stickable/removable. I simply used a couple of strips of heavyweight Scotch "book tape" that I had laying around and I know to be very sticky to strap the L-clips to the backside of the cabinet edge - it's functional, and can't be seen. One more thing - it wasn't immediately obvious to me where the actual 'magnets' are in the strip. They are located ONLY at the ENDS of the light bar. Attach the magnets, THEN whatever you're using to stick the metal pieces to your location, and either mark the ends, or position the whole thing in place.

My wife needed a bright light for her pull-out shelf keyboard. With adjustable brightness and warmth and an on-off switch instead of motion detection, at a reasonable price, this seemed like the right product. . . and it was. The distances between the lamp and the switch and the switch and the power source were perfect. The switch includes buttons for warmth color and brightness and a larger on-off switch. I and my wife particularly like that once you make the settings they remain the same for the on-off switch -- no cycling through a single button to get to your desired setting each time. This is a sign of good engineering and good quality. After I installed my wife's light I purchased and installed one for myself. Ditto review for that one. I can't say whether or not the two sided stick-ons were adequate since I used 3-M mounting squares trimmed to cover the entire back of each lamp and switch in a bit of overkill. The point being, don't throw a one-star review if the stick-ons provided don't secure the light to your satisfaction, when 3M makes 2-sided tape and mounting squares that will well-solve that little problem. Just use isopropyl alcohol to pre-clean all surfaces. We are both happy with this light.

ultimately, the product itself is pretty solid and a good option for lighting if you don’t have a lot of space. most of my complaints boil down to how the light adheres to surfaces. I think for the price point it’s probably one of the better products you will get. It is both good ambient, light and functional light. PROS: -Brightness -Multiple colour settings (warm, cold, both) -Magnetic CONS: -The adhesive is kind of weird (somehow very sticky and not sticky) -Cord clips are not great -When the light powered off the switch glows a little red -you can’t hold down the dimming function RECOMMENDATIONS: -if you have the capability just install magnets and don’t use the provided adhesive. -use the command cord clips, not the ones provided -Adhere the switch with Velcro or magnet -use some sort of tape to keep the cord from sagging

Light is super easy to install, dims, and color temperature can be adjusted. Nice light.

I have old 70's cabinets, so I they are chipboard on the bottom, but smooth wood on the front. This light came with angle brackets and double-sided adhesive bits. I stuck the angle brackets to the backside of the cabinet fronts, then used the magnets that are built-in to attach the light bar. From there, I was able to run the cord discreetly to the socket. I used the two included cable clips to run the cable down the wall with the switch between them, giving me a handy way to secure both the switch and the cable. I've had about 3 other lights in this spot, none of which was able to last. This one though does everything right and I'm very, very pleased with it. The brightness levels are great, and having multiple temperatures (colors) will be good for people who are using it for more artistic endeavors. Me, I'm just happy it's clinging unobtrusively to the cabinets. :-)

I bought this to light up an audio mixer that I custom mounted at a slant in an equipment rack. When it came and I plugged it in I was amazed at what a great product and what a great value it is. It is extremely bright at max power plus offers a full, stepped dimming range along with the choice of 3 color temperature settings warm/mixed/cool. The color temps are possible because of 2 different alternating LEDs in the strip. The best part is once I set the light level and color temp I liked then each time the power goes off and on this strip returns to the setting it was last at. It's compact and well made. It has a sturdy brushed aluminum case. I am reordering several more now for other projects.

Great over the sink light. Does as described. 2 light modes warm and cool also dimmable. Easy access controls. The plug-in cable is long and small so easy to hide. Mounting is easy and the tape provided is good quality. Again I do recommend.

Love this! Works great, 2 different light setting and control bright or low lighting makes for great working conditions. Used it for desk lighting and also for behind the TV lighting.

Feb 23, 2023 Review for ASOKO LED Under Cabinet Lighting USB Plug-in, Dimmable, 3 Color Changing Use three days. Has built in magnets at each end of the narrow light bar. Used two screws and washers under cabinet, light bar sticks to the washers. Several brightness levels - v. good. Three colour temperature settings, achieved by using two sets of LEDs (white and amber). Colour levels are a) white only, b) white + amber, c) amber only. Has USB cable with plug-in to wall. Reasonable design. Not yet tested long term.

In a perfect world, I would tweak a few minor things about this light. In the real world, however, it works pretty darn well, and completely satisfied my expectations. Time will tell if it stands up to extended use, but for now I'm quite happy with it.

Easy to install. The provided clips keep the wire tidy and not dangling. Good for those under-illuminated areas that don’t have enough space for a regular light fixture.
