I am glad I finally rolled the dice and picked these up.
I had these in my wish list for a while, but hesitated to buy because there was so much discussion in reviews about the sizing challenges. Free returns from Amazon finally motivated me to roll the dice and pick up a pair. I was pleasantly surprised that I chose correctly and they fit just as I wanted them to. I'm 5' 10" and 175lbs and ordered the XL. I wanted them to fit a bit loose so I could throw them on over my hiking pants after reaching camp in cold weather and the XLs were the right choice. Just loose enough to be comfortable without being overly baggy or too long. The stitching and workmanship in general appears to be high quality. They puffed up nicely after being out of the bag for a few minutes. The shell material is light weight, but I prefer it that way to keep their weight down, since they're not really meant for hiking (down is too warm and not breathable enough for most hiking environments anyway). I just intend to wear them around camp as temps drop at night and maybe inside my sleeping bag on particularly cold nights.I am glad I finally rolled the dice and picked these up. I'll have a chance to try them out in a couple of weeks on a cold overnight at moderate altitude here in CO, when I anticipate a fire ban will be in effect. If they don't live up to my expectations, I will update this post. If it hasn't been updated, then they performed just as expected.

Surprisingly not so bad!
I purchased these for some upcoming backpacking trips. I am always cold and was nervous about the inactive hours at camp in the evenings. I purchase these after trying another brand off Amazon called tapasime. Those were much too bulky and heavy. The nature hike version is lightweight, stuffable, and very warm. I am testing them right now on a very windy day in the Pacific Northwest and I can't feel any wind on my legs. This was a surprising additional benefit - I didn't expect much except for a little bit of added warmth. I think these will work very well overnight trips and are cozy enough to sleep in. For reference, I am 120 lb, 5 ft 4 in, and purchased a small . I highly recommend the version with pockets! The pockets have zippers as well- nice design all around!

Pretty good for the price, but not perfect.
Pretty good for the price, but not perfect. The unfortunate: The down filling varies from baffle to baffle: a few are almost empty, a few are quite overstuffed, and the rest are somewhere in between. Overall, they feel like they easily have room for another 10-20g/0.5-1oz of down. Box baffles would have been a plus, but I didn't expect them at this price point. As other reviewers noted, the stuff sack says 750fp. Also, it's duck down. The pockets came unfinished and are waiting to unravel. The good: they are warm, light, and feel very wind proof. They're also about the right amount of baggy for over pants: I wear US men's 32x30 and medium leaves plenty of room for long underwear and pants without feeling like they're sagging or going to fall off.Overall, hard to beat at the price point. But not perfect. If the pockets were finished and the down more evenly distributed (and a little more puffy on average), I'd give it 5 stars. Also wish it was 800fp goose down. As is, 4 feels about right.

Game changer for cold weather camping.
I camp in cold weather, a lot. down to the single digits F. When using my 20F rated bag, I would get cold...very cold at night, and need to use a heated Nalgene bottle to keep me comfortable. After buying and trying these pants... I'm a convert. I use this along with the nature hike down booties. Together they compress down super small and take up very little weight/room in my pack. These two combined allow me to stay toasty warm while carrying a lighter sleeping bag. I no longer need to carry a bulk 0F rated bag to stay warm. These are not as puffy and thick as the models from the bigger name brands, but for the cost, you can't go wrong. I would recommend upsizing quite a bit... I'm 6'2, 225 with a 35" waist and 34" inseam, and ordered the XXL. I certainly would not want to go any smaller. They fit, but I would say I'm near the limit.

Light and warm!
Pros:Like every other positive review, these are LIGHT and WARM. I was blown away by how comfortable these pants are. I plan on using them as a mid layer for hunting and skiing, so these hit the light and warm mark perfectly. Great price when compared to similar products. Zippered pockets are definitely a solid addition since items tend to slip out more easily with this fabric.Cons:A drawback with the extremely light weight is the potential for less durability; these have a paper-thin feel to them, so lounging idly or under a tougher fabric for the outdoors would be recommended. Finally, these are not in the slightest stylish (but for me- who cares when it’s under camo or ski gear!), so don’t plan on turning heads in a good way in public.Fit:I’m 5’10”, 165lbs and ordered a large. These are a tad snug to be my outerwear (but perfect as a mid layer.)

Great pair of pants.
I don't really mind but I care to point it out since I don't see many others pointing it out. The bag you will receive to stuff the pants in says it's a 750FP pair of pants, while the Amazon listing claims 800FP. Now I don't really mind the discrepancy, however, other may. I don't enjoy paying so much for these pants. But I can say sitting very warm out in 15F weather. Also don't expect to receive the puffiest pants you've ever seen. Understand good quality pants will run you $200, you get simply get what you pay for.
