The product build quality is really good. Kudos to the company for making it and their are just two issues in that first is make sure their is 0.02-0.05 of concentric tolerance in the barrel and thimble because even though you try to calibrate it the initial reading will not be precise till the first 3 mm.Second point will be to have smooth finish in the anvil and spindle.You.may think that cost will be more but you can compramise for even lower grade material and have a nickle plating but make sure finish of every single component is good.Do that and all your future reviews and customer satisfaction will be amazing.I am mechanical engineer too it's a great product just some minor tinkering is required but I am not returning my micrometer just finished calibration and oilied it up.But please make sure you are taking care about the quality.

Good build quality

First replace product box broken and second is Not accurate reading .very high diffrence in reading and wire guage. It's low quality QC product.
