Umi 2400W step up voltage converter

This is a really great and stylish voltage converter. It works well and looks high quality. My only suggestion is to keep it turned off when you’re not using it to avoid unnecessary electricity consumption. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

We have several step ups. The ones we have caused our DeLonghi coffee maker to hum, but this UMI got rid of the sound. Our cofee maker is not made for 110v so the trick is to power off the converter each time and allow the coffee maker to discharge.. This is not a defect of the converter but rather the components in our coffee maker. We have another DeLonghi cofee maker but the coffee is better on the one connected to the UMI and worth the extra step. We would clearly buy this product again.

Replaced my old $600 Toto bidet with a $200 one from Xiaomi, advertised as coming with the neccessary adapters. Unfortunately it didn't, and I was stuck with a 220v only 1500w rated device that had a Chinese Type I plug. A great deal suddenly was not looking so great. I was determined though, I was going to make my Xiaomi work, so research I did, and half a day later, I decided on this beauty of a transformer. I found out all the things like needing a step up transformer rated for more than the max wattage of my device, so I went with the 2400 watt model, which handles everything with ease. Also looks nice and fits into the decor well. Also found out that 220v American devices like our electric stoves and washing machines are not the same kind of 220v European and Asian devices, so adding an american 220v outlet would be incompatible. I decided not to worry about the 50/60hz difference, hopefully that's okay, but this device converts my 110v outlet to the kind of 220v outlet that Euro/Asian devices need. I could have got an ugly one for $90 instead of $120, but I'm glad I spent the extra. This thing is wonderful, and I may find more uses in the future.

This voltage converter is fantastic! It effectively steps up from 110V to 220V with ease. I’m extremely impressed by its performance—everything that’s designed for European plugs and 220V runs perfectly and powerfully. Highly recommended!

Writing a review after so long, I Bought this to run a Juicer from India. This convertor is in no way cheaply made like many others, especially like those ugly black boxes. It is very Heavy, like a heavy brick and has suction cups at the bottom. It also has mounting holes on it in case you want to hang it on the wall but dont do it if you have cheap drywalls because this is very heavy. It arrived nicely packaged, looks good, and works great, no problems at all. The Indian plug is too tight in this socket so I had to buy an adapter plug but that's allright because the unit itself works perfectly. There are two total 220v outlets on it. The 900W Juicer ran just the way it would in India. No noise or smell from this convertor unit either, it comes with a strong and thick power cord. I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Lovely design, easy to set up and use, display information is great to have, most other items in this category are black boxes that you want to hide, this one you want to show! Just make sure the model you get is the one you need, read the specifications before ordering. I use it to power a George Foreman grill from the UK and this unit adds a power on and off button that is lacking in the grill itself, no more plugging and unplugging needed. Also since the power is monitored continously the unit works as a power surge protector. So great to find a product that has features that add value, protect and improve the usability of the appliances used with it. Very highly recommended!

This is a really high quality product. I've used other converters before and this one is so much better for my use case (european espresso machine). Here's why: - Styling: It's something that doesn't look like workshop and you can actually put it in your kitchen - 3 Pin Plug: A lot of the other converters don't allow the 3rd pin to go in. This is a safety risk if you're handeling 2000 Watts and probably illegal. You will need an adapter though to plug the 3rd pin in. - 2 Outlets: I'm using a grinder and espresso machine. - Quality build - Easily accesible switch - Pump: The pump in my machine was acting up with other converters because of the 50/60 Hz issue. While this converter doesn't convert the frequency it works perfectly with the european pump. Others didn't. Highly recommended!!

I bought a handcrafted samovar for my mom’s birthday that came from Turkey. It runs on 220V and draws over 1000 watts. I also bought this step-up power converter, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It handles the load like a charm. It’s small, portable, and surprisingly heavy, which makes it feel solid and well-built. Most other converters look bulky or ugly, but this one actually looks good enough to sit in a living room next to a handcrafted samovar. Very happy with it, thanks.

Bought this for my wife to use Dyson air wrap. Works flawlessly. Very compact . Good product.

This thing is easy to use. It's heavy so it's not something you move around too often. I had appliances from living in Asia that I didn't want to throw out. After trying another, much clunkier converter, this one is streamlined and sleek-looking. I use it daily with my coffee machine and also with my toaster. I recommend it.

We moved to Canada from Australia and had a few kitchen appliances such as the coffee machine and air fryer that needed extra voltage to power up. I had this connected to my Australia’s extension cord too. It was such a great buy (got the 2400W) due to its compact size that just work! It’s super quiet too. Highly recommend!

I received it very quickly. Before I bought it, I read the comments and yes, it is indeed a little heavy, but you can easily carry it alone. I bought it for a steam machine (iron) and was worried that it might not be able to withstand the steam shock. It does its job perfectly and, most importantly, it and the socket plug do not heat up.
