I love these! They are so incredibly easy. I used to purchase them in the two pack from the drugstore, but I've found that this is much cheaper. Each one lasts about two months for me and I live in an apartment with 5 other girls so this bathroom gets used a lot. When you flush this produces a few soapy bubbles at the top of the toilet and leaves an overall fresh and clean scent which I love. The scent starts to fade at about the 4th week of use but I'd say that's to be expected. They clip right on to the side of your toilet and you pop the seat right over it then don't worry about it for the next couple of months. I've noticed my toilet stays cleaner while using these which I love. Definitely try these out! They are so easy.

This Lysol toilet cleaning product is a staple in my home. The difference they make in keeping my toilet clean is worth the price to me. One cake lasts me almost two months, depending on how often the toilet is flushed of course. If I don't have one on hand and go without, I notice hard water build up immediately. To use it's a good idea to start with a clean bowl and then simply place one cleaner over the rim and walk away. Every time the toilet is flushed, the water runs over the cake, releasing cleaning agents that keep my bowl fresh and clean. They come two to a pack and it's easy to cut the package to use one while keeping the other one sealed till needed. I love this product and highly recommend giving it a try in your home. Trust me, it makes a big difference and reduces having to deep scrub the toilet so often. The tabs are helpful, as I live in an area with hard water, and they give the bowl a nice shine. The scent is stronger than I prefer for a smallish bathroom and I suspect may worry those with a scent trigger, but it is not an unpleasant smell. It is easy to attach, remove for additional routine cleaning (such as above the water stream/under the rim where it can’t reach) if desired, and to reattach.

These are wonderfully easy to apply and they make the toilet bowl smell so floral-like. I got carried away and rimmed the entire bowl to make a nice necklace. Ha. Just kidding. It's a basic toilet bowl cleaner. Does it smell like the ocean? It probably doesn't smell like the ocean in Jersey. It's more like a fictitious ocean front from the mind of some perfumer. I hope he or she is collecting royalties. If you want real ocean scent (and trust me you DON'T) you can get it from some researchers at the University of Anglia. They were curious about why the ocean smells like... well, the ocean. It turns out there's a particular microbe that produces "dimethyl sulphide" AND they bottle it. I suspect you're not likely to find it for sale here.

These do what most of us probably want them for, keep the toilet bowl clean so the ring doesn't form and we don't have to scrub it. Having said that, what I discovered is that it is directly related to how often you flush. The bathroom that gets the most use in our house, stays perfectly clean with no trace of a ring. The bathroom that gets used the least does not perform the same. The lesser flushed toilet starts to get the ring back after ten days or so since its last cleaning. This also has an impact on how long they last. The more often it's flushed, the quicker the tablet dissolves. The more often one has lasted a very long time however, 7 weeks and its still there. Probably need to change it soon to keep the cleaning power. I've determined that placing it where the water slowly fills up the bowl after the initial flush is better than having it under the part where the water first rushes in. That way the cleaner stays in the bowl rather than just going down the drain. As for thh scent, its a nice little bonus. I didn't buy these for smell, but was pleasantly surprised at the fragrance. It lasted a good ten days to two weeks where you could smell it most of the time. After that you could smell it right after a flush for another week/ten days or so but after that you couldn't smell it anymore.
