Donald: The Book

from gaffer tape to wise words and lots and lots of fun... this book is a party...it is one of my favorite ones!! inspired by every image and the surprises as i turn each page... donald you are amazing!!...and so fun to explore and to engage!! waiting for this for awhile but oh so worth the wait!! this collection of colorfull is simply, incredibly great!! i have admired donald robertson for quite some time now... and to follow him on instagram daily is to receive an everyday pow!! the way he views the world is just so fresh and new... and his art pieces, his family and friends...just amazing too!! so if this peaks your interest and you want to read this book... it will not disappoint!!...you really should take a look!!

Can I just say that I would love to call Donald my friend? He is witty, clever, full of energy and endlessly creative! The compilation of his work in this book show the exhaustive nature of his talent. His work is bold, colorful and sometimes outright hilarious! I loved reading about his background and the experiences that led to his current role as the Creative Director of Estée Lauder and the Instagram sensation he is. It is encouraging to know that someone from the suburbs can have such an extraordinary life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in contemporary art and the fashion world. Five stars!

I have been following Drawbertson on Instagram for about a year and a half now. Since then I have been OBSESSED with his account, his family and his artwork. Out of excitement, I ordered the book 2 months in advance as my mom's Christmas gift (she is equally as obsessed) but couldn't wait until then to give it to her. She and I are now wishing we had 2 books -- one to keep and the other to cut up and hang the illustrations all over are houses. The book is beautifully put together, highlighting so much of Donald's seemingly never-ending talent. I could spend hours looking at the book and never get tired of it. Thank you Donald and thank you Assouline for your wonderful work. If you don't already own this book order one (or two) NOW!

Donald: The Book brings me pure happiness as does the artist himself! This tome is the perfect solution for those instances when the power goes out and one cannot get onto Instagram for their daily (ok hourly) Donald fix. BUY, BUY, BUY this book...for yourself and anyone who loves fashion, humour, intelligence, animals, colour, twins, nostalgia and on I could go!

I became in love with "drawbertson" and his work the second I saw him on Instagram. His sense of fun, the sheer enjoyment of shapes and color is depicted in all his pieces; whether it's on a surfboard, pizza box, his children or his fur babies really shines through. Donald's work is truly enjoyable. If you haven't noticed yet, he's a wonderful family man and treasures his children. Miles, Drue, Teddy, Charlie and Henry are blessed to have such wonderful parents as Kim and Donald.

My expectations were unrealistically high for this book arrival & honestly I was prepared to be disappointed, but I WAS NOT! I was completely blown away as I flipped through this book from cover to cover. DR is without question the most wicked good & influential artist of our time! He's up there w/ my favs: Pollock, Calder, Koons & Warhol. His creations are always simply brilliant & this book captured his ingenuity & certified RADNESS! (Video from his Brentwood, CA signing!)

“The book” arrived last week and I fell in love with it. I’ve been looking at it everyday finding something new. It is filled with color, creativity and makes me smile,,,it truly is eye candy! I’m so happy that I found Mr. Donald Robertson on IG. I will continue to look for his new art on there.

I stumbled upon Donald and the book, on Amazon and was blown away. I did some research while awaiting the book delivery. The book did not disappointment. Amazing, dreamy creations, so much fun!! Donald, you can add me as a die-hard fan for life!! Cant wait for him to sign my book, well whenever he comes to Houston!!
