Shubhkart Solid Brass Decorative Nakshi Plate Set for Puja, Decoration & Diwali Gifting (Small 7 cm, Pack of 3, Solid Brass)

Note, these are inexpensive solid brass "plates", commonly used for alter "plates" to hold small offerings, and found in rustic markets around the world. Check measurements before you buy, as these are small, ashtray/coaster size dishes. There will be casting and machine mark anomalies, it is part of their character and charm. For perfect finishing, you will need to pay for "art" level pieces - much pricier. The ones I received were reasonably well finished given the price, no rough or sharp places on the edges, or "gobbies", or major flaws. My decor is bohemian eclectic with brass components so these fit very well for use as coasters. I ordered 2 sizes (large & small). the small ones are perfect as teabag catchers, the large ones hold even my large mugs, and add a functional yet decorative touch scattered about on table tops, so I am very happy with these. They are medium heavy brass, with a nice lip to contain drips and condensation. They are thick enough to not dent with a drop to a tile floor, although they may "bruise", as brass is softer than most tile. They are not large enough to hold the foot on my larger wine glasses, so measure and check before you buy if you intend to use these as coasters for wine glasses. Will buy another set of these. I may order a medium set to use as "jewelry catchers", they should hold rings, earrings and other small items well.

This was the size large.

One plate was a centimeter bigger than the rest, not sure if it was intentional. The other plates can sit inside it comfortably. Otherwise I would give five stars but since unsure I will do 4 stars. These are very beautiful, great craftsmanship.

Pretty and well-made! For the price these are quite exquisite. Stamped pattern in bronze. Sturdy and nice. I had some small elephant-shaped incense holders that needed a tray for the ashes and this serves the purpose perfectly for what I bought it for. The design is pretty and the pack of 3 arrives neatly packed and wrapped with the utmost care. Thank you. They are a lovely product. I bought the smallest one and they are so darling! I highly recommend!

The plates are very nice and sturdy but at this price I was expecting big plates at least my palm size but these are too small- my palm can have 3 plates. In Singapore I can get them in cheaper price in local shop. If you are looking for prayer ok but for kitchen use or dining not good …

The dishes were all black in color and not shinny golden as shown in picture, really disappointed.I tried brushing off the black stuff using pitambari, colgate , white cloth, aluminum etc, but its all in the grooves and couldn't get rid of them all. They still look blackish. Not worth buying as they are not shown as in pictures.
