Waste of money
This product worked twice and has never worked again. When it did work the info given was great - but to work twice in a whole year. I keep hoping it will all of a sudden work but it doesn’t. I write and was told that I am measuring incorrectly. Honestly I don’t want any product that is this hard to use. ImMeanwhile I did pay for a subscription. Total waste of money both product, subscription. I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing.

Not Worth the Price
Very disappointing. The quality of manufacture is poor, and they are not durable at all. You can expect it to work for a month or perhaps two, and that is about it. The company is good about replacing under warranty, but the replacement had about the same poor durability. I would not buy again.

Severely inaccurate
I'm 5'11 and 157lbs . I've historically had issues with my body fat being too low. I've measured it many times, more recently has been close to 13% (which is good!). Just from my height and weight, the MAXIMUM body fat is close to 15%. It can't be more than that (physically not possible, I'd have to weight more). This band called me obese immediately (26% body fat). I took 15 measurements, adjusting my position, with/without clothes, following instructions, etc. It just doesn't work, wayyy too flaky and inaccurate.

you're better off with a smart scale for body composition metrics, from a wearable geek
To preface, I am one of those wearables geek / quantified-self type of consumer -- I jokingly have an infinity gauntlet of wearables between an Apple Watch, a Fitbit, and an Oura ring.So I'm being sincere in saying that I really REALLY wanted to like this product, especially after some positive reviews noting that it's improved its hardware and software from their first iteration. But holy cow was this a disappointing experience.RE: StrapsMaybe this is how I'm finding out that I have a fat wrist, but the provided bands (ranging from XS-L, in the box) were too small for me (and there are no XL alternatives, even to buy separately). I understand that maybe for electrical impedance to work it requires close contact with the skin. However, for a product that has "jacked" as a fitness profile goal, I just don't think that the follow-through was well thought out (you can quite clearly see that it's biting into the flesh of my wrist).RE: Measurements & AccuracyI'm averaging a 5% success rate in readings (1 in 20) at best. Not only does it require you to hold your hand in a very specific position for 30s, the measurements can bug out for a variety of reasons. I've been reprimanded by the app to not remove contact, or by the mysterious "incorrect data" error (see photo). In addition, the whole measurement can fail at the 29th second and you'd have to start over again -- there's no failsafe of any kind, and that does not seem user-friendly to me.Even when a measurement is "successful," of the 3 times it worked, it's been wildly inaccurate ; I'm flattered that the app thinks I'm at 8% body fat, but just based on visual confirmation and historical smart weight data it's clearly not the case.ConclusionPer the title, I personally think you're better off with a smart weight (Withings Body+ is the one I have) that gets your weight, quite accurate guesses your body fat % and muscle mass, all while only taking 5s.

Works great…WHEN it works, that is
The Aura 2 strap is a very useful tool for determining body composition. Is it as accurate as some of the InBody machines or similar BMI systems? It’s close enough for most people. The biggest problem I have with the strap is that for the first week, it worked perfectly. Took a reading, displayed results, and worked wonderfully. After the second week, the readings would start and then stop 10 seconds in and say “don’t remove hand from the contacts.” Except that I didn’t move an inch. It would do this over and over and over. Easily taking 12+ tries to re-attempt a reading before it would go through.TL;DR: 50% of the time it works every time

Works once
The original strap worked once, then I didn’t use it for a while, and I tried it again – it wouldn’t work. Emailing back-and-forth with customer service is time consuming they want numbers off of your box and your order number which I had to go back to Amazon to look up.Customer service did send me a replacement strap which worked one time, and the next time I tried to use it, which is today it kept giving me an error message that said, keep your hands together, and the dashboard green panel would light up so I went back and did it again five more times still not working in the same error message. I didn’t do anything differently today then I’ve done before when it took a reading. So again, I’ve just had to email customer service the numbers off of my box and my Amazon order number.Frustrating process for a device that is supposed to track some health data easily.I would Buy it again, now that I have it I want to use it

It’ll work for a few weeks then not work anymore
Tried changing the batteries & everything, worked 2/3 times then stopped working and the 50% of the time it tries to get a read it’ll say “you removed your hand” when I didn’t. Spent hours trying to make it work, not worth the money
