Once they break in, they are silent and the stopping power is great. Like all break pads, they need a little time to break in though. They are not great immediately.

The pads on my Specialized Mtn. Bike were worn to a nub. These brake pads fit and worked perfectly. Installation was a breeze after bleeding the lines. Much cheaper and faster than surrendering your ride to the bike shop for days.

Had metallic brakes that would not quit squeeling no matter what I tried cleaned rotor and caliper again and put these pads on and no more squeel! They seem to have more braking power also.

Perfect fit to replace Tektro P10.11 brake pads. Came with three cotter pins and spring, in addition to the two pads. Good stopping power on both he test ride.

I "lost" my brakes on my mountain bike, and needed to replace the pads. These pads were easy to install, and have worked very well since installation, even when I am careening down a hill and need to stop quickly! As I haven't had them for more than a half year, I can't advise as to whether they wear quickly or slowly.

Great price for front and rear brake pad replacements. Be sure to lightly sand the surfaces prior to installing or you might have to take them back out and sand as they more than likely will still squeal a bit.
