The Perfect Solution for a Specific Problem - Alto Professional Stealth 1 Mono
I needed this for two specific applications: wedding ceremonies and satellite speaker situations. In both settings, I don't use extension cords and either can't or don't want to run XLR cable. The Stealth 1 Mono system is ideal for this: It sets up fast It's easy to use It works. I've spent a lot of time with the Stealth 1 Mono wireless system. I've tried it in many situations. When you follow the instructions EXACTLY, it works perfectly: Set the speakers where you want them. Turn the transmitter on first and THEN the receiver. IF you turn the receiver on first, the whole thing becomes intermittent. I've tested the battery life twice with rechargeable batteries. They lasted 4.5 and 5 hours before the wireless turned off. That's more than enough time for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours and short gigs. I've also ran it 80' apart without any issues. I haven't needed it to go further than that, but Alto says it will go 100'. I've also used it with the output on a mixer to the speaker and it worked flawlessly. UPDATE: I had the same static issue as HGDJ below. But it only happened when I was using this with a Bluetooth input on the speaker to send music to it on a test. As soon as I plugged the music directly into the speaker input via a cable and sent the signal out to the other speaker via the Stealth 1, the static went away and it worked perfectly. Maybe you can't use Bluetooth AND the Alto Stealth 1 at the same time? The Alto Stealth 1 Mono solves my problem perfectly. Would I use this with the band in a critical "this can NOT fail" kind of situation? I don't think so. If I wanted a wireless speaker system for the bands FOH system, I'd go with the Alto Stealth Wireless Pro.

Good potential [UPDATED]
This was a product I could not wait to receive. Alto is an awesome company. This was a product I could not wait to receive. This has great potential. It's UHF. It's battery powered. It's got a small form factor. The distance seemed pretty decent. The only issue was my unit had a lot of static or hiss. I'm not sure if it's defective since I've seen other reviews where it works great. I'm so sad I had to return it because I really wanted this to work. UPDATE: I purchased this a 2nd time. I hooked the transmitter into a mixer. It's drastically better. No buzz. No hum. Maybe a slight hiss. But, almost unnoticeable. Very pleased with the volume. Seems to produce plenty of output. Hooking it the way I have now, made a world of difference.

frequency per channel
Alto stealth is a great product the only issue is that I couldn't find the frequency of each channel. So I had to buy a signal scanner. ill save you some time with the list below frequency per channel 0 - 542.125 1 - 543.625 2 - 545.050 3 - 546.425 4 - 546.900 5 - 548.150 6 - 551.100 7 - 552.475 8 - 554.000 9 - 556.075 A - 558.975 b - 559.975 C - 561.050 d - 562.975 E - 564.425 F - 565.975

Not what I expected at all :(....
Very good idea, terrible engineering. I expected way more from ALTO. So disappointing, I really wanted to order the stealth 2 but is backordered so I gave this item a chance. And really gambled my results but this time I lost. I don't know what's the return policy I already opened them to test them . I ordered 2 pairs ($200) I tried 2 at a time in different channels but they kept getting disconnected, tried all channels same results. I tried as speaker system , same thing it didn't work (too much interference, noise and intermittent disconnection ) I tried as mic wireless system, same results. Then I used one at a time and it worked a little better. But any person any item or just some air gets in the way and it makes distortion and disconnections. I'm really disappointed. I will try to return them , this is probably a $25 item. Not $100. I have an event tomorrow and will not be able to use them. I was trying to save me some cabling. So sad. Bye

Excellent Product
I bought 2 pairs, they do exactly what they are supposed to do. I am a musician. I plug them from my mixer to the speakers, 2 sets 2 different channels. I like that you can use them while they are plugged in to a power source, so there is no worries about running out of battery. If you are like me and using then without batteries, considering buying 2 very shot xlr cables for the ones going into the mixer, because the power connectors will be too close to each other when plugged into the mixer. You will also need an adaptor cable for the power. They came out cheaper than using batteries. Meh
Doesn't work well. it drops signal if greater distance than approx 4 ft between transmitter and receiver, especially if people walk between the line of sight. Embarrassed me twice. However when used within 4 ft range or less no issues. Brand new batteries don't stand a chance. it drains batteries fast. not worth 99. and definitely doesnt deserve to wear the alto brand. Seems better to just go Xvive.

Very good wireless
We purchased 4 sets of these to do distributed sound for an outdoor venue. With some work building armatures to mount them to achieve better line of site - we have been able to distribute sound across a large outdoor space filled with tents and the public. Performance vs Value is definitely a win--considering the next name brand up from here is expensive...and those below are not reliable.

Receiver battery easily drained. Most of the time, unnecessary noise creating a not clear recording. Packaging is not that neat. I wish to return this product.
