Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein, 0.5-Ounces

I was first introduced to this treatment in a manicure gift I received about a year ago. At that time, I had been experiencing peeling nails and could not seem to get the peeling to stop no matter what I tried. Within a week of starting this treatment, I noticed there was no new peeling. Once the already peeling portions of my nails grew out, I remained peel-free until the bottle ran out. It wasn't until the peeling returned a few weeks after using a different base coat that I realized how wonderful and helpful the Barielle had been for me all along! In addition to offering superior nail rebuilding, my polish would stay on, chip free, for DAYS (something I was never able to achieve with any other "regular" base coat). Even if I'm able to permanently stop my peeling issue, I will continue to use this as my base coat for as long as it is available.

Bought Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein & Intensive Nail Renewal Oil in mid-April, 2016. Before using these products my nails peeled, chipped and broke easily (even with layers of high end nail products). After following the Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein instructions for the 1st 2 weeks; I used used it as a base coat under my normal polish. Supplementing it with the Intensive Nail Renewal Oil twice a day. As of mid-May my nails are stronger, no longer chip nor peeled. I was amazed. With my own base coat, after a few days of normal household chores the polish would peel and chip. With Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein as a base coat, it lasts almost 2 weeks with just a little touch up. My nails look so nice with just Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein I often don't bother with colored polish. See photo. I highly recommend both products.

It works well enough. I'm not sure how protein helps rebuild anything, but it does make the nail hold up better when applied. I don't think it so much helps it rebuild per se, but it works to keep sheered and raggled nails together until new nail can form.

As with all Barielle products that I have used and continue to use...there products do EXACTLY what their advertising says they will do, I have never been disappointed with a Barielle product. ❤

I have been wearing gel nails for years and decided I needed to let my nails breathe and rebuild. They are left like tissue paper after removing the gel, so I am using the Barielle Protein and it appears to be helping restore my nail strength. I will keep using it.

This is a nail polish, it suits the purpose it's intended for. It appeared to be clear in the photos, but is actually a yellowish color which makes me think it's an old product that has been stored for a long time, or stored under bad conditions. The box that the bottle came in looked like an elephant had stepped on it but the bottle was undamaged. The outer Amazon box was also in rough shape, but not nearly as bad as the product box.

I have been searching for something that will keep my nails from splitting. I guess it's rare for a man to have this problem. This product did not work for me, however, Healthy Hoof, believe it or not did.

I was very impressed that my order arrived much earlier than it was supposed to. I am also very happy with the product and will need to order another one. I wonder if they come in a larger size.
