Meltdown minimization
We have minimized many meltdowns by giving these different textured squares to our son. I use them to teach him differences & making matches. They have also exposed him to different textures. Thank you Autism & Prosperity!

Sensory seeking & arum playing
As an HFA Myself I thought this would be the best gift for my child’s daycares sensory closet so I bought it in excitement! We love textures and touching said textures. But for the price.. I feel like the pillow squares could have had more stuffing in them some of mine were kind of sparse on the fluff.. which was upsetting. I even tried flattening them out with my hand and there wasn’t really enough to do that. Also would have been nice if they put beads either glass, beans or corn in some of them. Some with a little weight to them would have sent them over the top on awesomeness. The mat maze I thought was going to be a bit bigger too. It’s really not that big but I guess great for the little hands there was a couple spots where I had to force the ball through and stretch it a bit. But that’s to be expected. These will be easy to clean can probably just throw them in a garment back to be washed on a gentle cycle if need be. All in all will be great for a sensory closet! I gave it three stars for the quality against the $40 price tag would hope for more fluff to really feel those texture otherwise having no fluff at all would have sufficed as well to make a finger blanket type sensory rub.

Great for toddlers!
I do not have an autistic child. At the time of this review my son is 16 months old and I just thought that these would be good for him. I've worked in childcare and I know toddlers do like sensory texture things like this so I figured why not. I'm really glad that I got them for him because he really likes them SO much! I'm actually surprised by how much he has wanted to just sit down and play with them since we got them. We have only had them for like a week but they immediately got their own spot on his play shelf. There are 2 of each different square and there was a bonus little fabric maze. My son can't use the maze right now but I could see how an autistic child would really enjoy this whole package. For now we will just be talking about the different textures and colors. But as my son gets older we can use these as a matching game which means long term use for us. We also have a 4.5 month old who will get into them as well so even more use out of them.
