Love the Boss Audio system with the adjustable screen. Bought one for me and one for my wife and will be buying a third soon. They are for our 2014/2015 Fiat 500es. These fit great. One word of advice. If you are using a Metra SWC module, program the module with the settings in the picture. Once you follow their procedure, it works great! Wireless CarPlay is excellent! Nice and clear. And built in theft deterrent as you can disconnect the screen and hide it or take it with you.

We were trying to stay between $100 and $250 for a decent radio. This fit the bill perfectly. My husband installed it in under 45 minutes in his 1995 Ford F-150. I immediately could hear the sound and bass coming from outside very clearly. My husband is a music snob and even though we didn’t want to spend for a top of the line unit for this vehicle, my husband has proclaimed this the best radio he has ever bought. The sound quality is good and there is no feedback or noise. Initially the only complaint was that the display looked nothing like the pictures. The display pictured is apple car play so as soon as he connected it to his phone, that complaint was gone. We added 2 pictures of it installed, one with apple car play and one without so you can see the difference. Hopefully it keeps working but for now we are giving it 5 stars.

This is an awesome radio with CarPlay. I have a classic car (1972 Cutlass Supreme) and wanted to install a modern radio, and this is the perfect size. I used a surface mounted universal single DIN underdash housing painted to match the blue interior of the car. The radio fit right in the housing and the adjustable screen that also removable works great. CarPlay works great, FM radio works great and sounds great as well with the speakers I installed as well as the 125 watt subwoofer I have. I would recommend this radio! (Note: old radio is visible in the photos. Did not want to remove it).

I’ve been running the Boss Audio BCPA8 head unit for a bit now, and overall I’m very happy with it—especially considering the feature set and price. The standout feature for me is wireless CarPlay, which has worked flawlessly. It connects quickly, stays connected, and makes daily driving far more convenient without needing to plug in my phone every time I get in the car. That said, I was never able to get wired CarPlay working. I tried multiple cables and settings, but no matter what I did, it simply wouldn’t connect in wired mode. Fortunately, since the wireless connection is so solid, this hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me—but it’s worth noting. The screen is another mixed bag. The display itself is clear and responsive, but there is absolutely no brightness adjustability. I tried every menu and setting combination possible, and nothing changes the screen brightness. During the day it’s fine, but at night it can be brighter than ideal, and I wish Boss had included even basic dimming controls. Where this unit really shines is audio performance. The sound quality is excellent, and the built-in EQ genuinely surprised me. It’s easily on par with much higher-end head units I’ve owned in the past. Once dialed in, it delivers clean highs, solid mids, and punchy lows without distortion, even at higher volumes. There is some lag when using wireless CarPlay—roughly 1 to 1.5 seconds behind any video playback. For audio, navigation, and general use it’s not an issue at all. Since watching video isn’t the point while driving anyway, this delay is understandable and not something that impacts real-world use. All things considered, the Boss Audio BCPA8 offers great sound, reliable wireless CarPlay, and strong overall value, with a few quirks you’ll want to be aware of.

I recently installed this radio into my 2004 Ram 3500 I bought last year. This radio brought a welcome change to my truck and has brought it into the modern age. I previously was using one of those old school FM radio Bluetooth devices, but now I’ve got wireless Apple car play! This radio was easy to install but as a heads up, you will need a single din radio adapter faceplate and an FM/AM antenna adapter for the third Gen Rams. This radio boots up super fast and the touch controls are fast and responsive. At the moment I don’t have anything bad to say about this unit and in my opinion, is a great purchase for your older vehicle.

Not worth it. Pro - The back up camera is good. Con - the warranty is good for only 30days. Mine started to be a problem just over 30days . I probably would have noticed sooner but I don’t drive this truck but twice a week. Con - the radio tuner changes the the station randomly and often. So much that I cannot listen to an entire song. Con - the system resets randomly while in use. Con - super bright at night with no way to dim. It can be a difficult distraction. Bottom line. Good camera Apple CarPlay is fine when it’s not resetting Radio is pointless

I’m going to give this 5 stars for now, as I only installed it a few days ago. Install was easy in a 2004 Jeep TJ Wrangler. Fits well. Kind of blocks the heat controls at maximum height adjustment but not terrible. It’s a huge upgrade to the Jeep. It really is feature packed. The Wireless CarPlay works flawlessly, the touch screen is very responsive, I love the button layout and volume knob. Phone calls are loud and clear. I will be adding a backup camera eventually. I use an external amp for the speakers and sub so I can’t comment on the internal power. Huge value for the money and it far exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that they didn’t include a soft bag for the removable screen.

El producto está bien pero a mí me salió con unos desperfectos, al principio la pantalla no me quería dar imagen, si me detectaba el touch, pero se mantenía en negro después de unos intentos prendió, pero al pasar los días una mancha empezó a aparecer(anexo foto) funciona bien pero no me gusta como se ve

I'll do 5 stars for now. This is my second one of these I've installed, there wasn't really anything wrong with the old one I just sold the truck. I liked the first one enough to get a second one! My only real complaint with the last one was that the Microphone wasn't very good for hands free, I found I had to yell a lot to get the person on the other end to hear me, I eventually got frustrated and ended up ripping the mic down and holding it right up to my mouth so they could hear me. So much for hands free. I'm going to try a different mic in this one and see if that helps. Other than that It's great quality for the price, I like how it swivels so you can adjust it to exactly where you want, I liek it angled slightly toward me to reduce glare. I'd recommend this unit to anyone

My grandson loves it… many hours to install if you an amateur tight spaces as well while installing.
