The software for this device is terrible. I managed to get one script loaded. Its impossible to access, "site cannot be reached" errors on every device I've tried. So I can't edit the script in another program and reupload. I'm really disappointed with £200 spent on this device. I bought because of the remote and the software. Would have been better buying a cheaper brand. Have a look on the APP reviews for Google Play and APPStore, I'm not alone in this problem. It's killing my project.

My wife does a fair bit of presenting via video and recording videos for work, and being able to talk naturally while looking straight into the camera really helps to make it feel like she's connecting with you, rather than needing to keep looking away at her notes.We already had a much lower cost teleprompter for this exact reason and while it's been great, this one is much better made and more professional. With this and the video lights I've set up for her, it's starting to feel like a film studio in her office! The results are excellent though and I definitely think it's worth it to make her look as professional as possible.It comes in a lovely case, into which it folds really nicely. This is an improvement over the cheap one which wasn't so easy to put away and has no case so this is far easier to store, transport and set up quickly. In use, you need quite a strong tripod to put it on. The teleprompter itself is fairly hefty and once you add a camera, lens and tablet it's a fair bit of weight which might be off centre from the middle of the tripod (depending on your camera and tablet) so it'll need to be up to the job.The teleprompter app is quite well done. It's easy to add text to it and to get it displaying on the tablet with no fuss. The remote control works well and has all the important options laid out simply enough that you can use them without having to look at it once you remember which button does what. It's very easy.She finds it easy to use. She generally prefers to use it to display short notes rather than a full script since that allows her to talk more naturally than if every single word was written down, but she can still be sure of staying on topic since the basic structure of the presentation is there in front of her. In fact she says it's easier than just talking to a lens because it gives you a reason to look at it!The quality of the recordings from the camera is excellent with no sign of the teleprompter text showing through.

What I will say is that I was surprised by the build quality of this and what you receive when it arrived. When I opened the box I was pleased to find a strong, expensive looking aluminium carry case that holds all the equipment securely inside.Inside the case you will find the teleprompter, remote control, cleaning cloth and user guide. The telepromter is supplied as a single unit, it is in a folded state when stored inside the case. Just lift the teleprompter from the case and fit to a sturdy tripod. This appears well made and is indeed heavy for it's size. When secured to a tripod a camera should be mounted on the rear looking through the teleprompter so that the presenter can look at the camera and also read what's on the display.Inside the supplied user guide is a link so that an app can be downloaded to your phone, both IOS or Android are supported. Once your phone is paired to the teleprompter the app can be used to enter text where it will then display on the teleprompter for the presenter to read. This would certainly be useful for a team to broadcast or record video, one person can be entering and updating text via the app where the presenter can then read it off the screen.If you have a use for this then I would say it's a fantastic bit of kit for the money. I never used a teleprompter before but seen some of the cheap versions. Certainly this is far better than those. As soon as you take it out of the box you can see a very well made aluminium carry case. It holds everything inside and looks expensive not cheaply built. All the equipments are protected by soft foam to avoid any mishaps or scratches.Instructions inside is very thorough and I was able to set it up very quickly.It comes with teleprompter, remote control, cleaning cloth and user guide.Teleprompter folds to store in the box and its a one single unit rather having lots of moving parts. Folding mechanism is smooth and works very easily.A camera is required to be mounted at the rear to enable presenter to look at the camera and read the disply. Teleprompter needs to be on a tripod which is required to purchase separately.Surprisingly it comes with an IOS or Android app and pairing with phone is easy and straightforward. You can enter text through the app which will display on the teleprompter for the presenter to read. I liked the quality of the product. However, I ended up returning it because it requires a camera with a protruding lens. I wanted to use it with my iPhone recording video, but found no way to make it work. If you have the right camera, I recommend this product

Assez facile à installer en revanche il faut avoir un trépied bien solide pour porter le prompteur et l’appareil photo + l’iPad. Il fonctionne parfaitement bien et je l’utilise plus d’une fois par semaine pour mes vidéos
