Super cool
These are great easy to install and wire up in my 2004 beetle.

Good deal
A good deal for the price. A bit of extra wiring if you want the halo effect. And you may need to adjust the projection of the headlights afterwards. All in all, a good deal.

Great lights as long as you're only going for looks and you don't have to adjust them
Lights look amazing they work okay about as bright as stock nothing special but impossible to adjust their adjustment screws on the back or a joke they don't do anything and they're in an impossible spot to get to so you actually have to take it out to adjust them and put them back in to see where you're at which is the biggest pain in the @$$ ever but just put them in today so we'll see how they last but again they do look really good

Kind of dim but look nice, work great.
I have an 04 VW New Beetle. It originally had the rare expensive bi-xenon HID headlight assemblies with 9 pin connectors. Unfortunately the previous owners chopped off the female connector part inside the vehicle and installed their own little round LED light inside each assembly. There were no high beam options that way so it wouldn't pass inspection, and the d2s bulbs were $100+ each locally. I spoke with a mechanic who told me to order these and he'd make these work, he let it sit for weeks and decided he didn't want to mess with it ugh. I became tenacious in trying to make something work, and wired/spliced new 9 pin pigtails, still no high beams. I brought this to a different mechanic, he managed to splice into the new pigtail/harness I made and these are working perfectly. The only downside is that the HID lights were wayyyy brighter, without even using the high beam option on the hid's as you can see in my photos. The first 2 photos are this product in black/clear, the second set of photos are before installing, and my original euro hid assemblies. The lights have a much sleeker look to them though, and I'll be much happier replacing these much more cost effective h1 bulbs when the time comes.

Misleading Manufacturer Description
The manufacturer's description of this product is that it is "plug and play". It most certainly is NOT. This requires rewiring that is well beyond anything remotely close to what the buyer is lead to believe. To complicate matters the manufacturer does not include adequate instructions with the product, the videos they have published on youtube are completely misleading, and they do not even include the parts necessary to complete the installation. Once again, you CANNOT simply plug this into the existing wiring harness for your headlights. Look elsewhere!

Super Bright
Looks like I got diamonds for headlights. Heads turn. Chicks dig the head lights. Guys wish they had these on their car. Great price. If you have a 2001 VW Beetle TDI like me, then pick up these hot lights. Oh, and unless you know how to ground wires and stuff, you'll have to take it to a professional. Its not costly though, I found a collision repair shop to put them in for me, and I just paid $25 apiece, so that's just $50 bucks plus around $165 for the lights themselves. They are worth it !!
