ALTO TS408 2000W 8" Powered PA Speaker with 3 Channel Mixer, Bluetooth Streaming, Wireless Loudspeaker Linking, DSP and ALTO App

So far... Wow. Very impressive. I've used it as a front wedge for my vocals and guitar, mostly. Very clear and is plenty loud for the venues we play. The construction is solid as a rock. The audio controls are effective and the app is pretty easy to connect and use. If there were any negatives, it would be that the handle is on the same side as the "tilt back" side, making it a little cumbersome to hook up, adjust and get into position. Not a big deal. And the bass is a bit limited as you might expect from an 8" woofer, but still solid. Probably need a 10-12" version if you're putting bass or drums in it. I liked it enough to buy a second one. I think these might even work as tops with some decent subwoofers for small to medium venues. Will look at this product line in the future.

Note about the video: this was at about 20% volume. Disclaimer: only used these speakers once for an outdoor party - used for about 6 hours total run time. No issues with overheating or degraded sound quality over time. What I like: Excellent clarity. Very good bass without a sub. Connecting to the speakers and pairing them was easy. Good bluetooth range. Started losing signal at about 100ft unobstructed. App is pretty easy to use and the presets are actually useful. Extremely powerful - I cranked the level up to about 50% and it was loud enough to drown out conversation from 80 feet away. What could be better: Self noise - Even at low volumes there is a very audible hiss coming from the speakers. Fine if you are in an environment that is relatively noisy to begin with but could be distracting in places that are very quiet and you try to run these at low volume. Bluetooth pairing to other speaker got slightly out of sync when I was walking around with my phone. I had to 're-pair' the speakers a couple times when I was moving about because there was a slight (like 20 or so miliseconds) delay in one speaker - cause a slapback type effect. Re-paring only took a few seconds but could be a show stopper if you are truly running a show from a bluetooth device and you're not stationary.

I purchased this for my karaoke setup--probably overkill, but it is nice and clear sounding with a decent amount of bass. In my living room, I could never turn this speaker up to max or else I'd be met with hearing problems in the future. I did not find the EQ app/settings useful--was hoping for a reverb setting, but it wasn't available---so I had to go out and buy my Yamaha mixer to remedy this. The bluetooth function of this works great and doesn't feel like it lost any sound quality delivering music. I purchased this over the non bluetooth version for the purpose of dualing it as an outdoor speaker to play music if ever needed. However, I normally play my music for karaoke via my sound bar system, and use this pa system for vocals. If you are the same, you could probably get away with the $100 cheaper system. Slightly heavy (for a small female) if transporting, but at least you know it's stable and built to last.

Wow! I bought a pair of these. They sound amazing for DJing. There is only an 8” speaker, but it produces. Very loud with no distortion. These would also work great for a PA system. Love it!

This speaker is good for Mid to High Frequencies. It is not made for low and very high frequencies. You will hear a little bit of bass, but if you want a bass frequency that touches your soul, this ain't the one. Good buy though. It's heavier than it looks. Packaging was done really well. To connect it to Bluetooth, you have to download the Alto app and connect it through the app first, THEN you connect it through phone Bluetooth. I'm just using it as a temporary karaoke PA in house for now. Let's see how long this thing lasts.

I have been a DJ for a very long time over 40 yrs. and I am a still a sound nut. I mix live on the radio and needed a small monitor and boy do these little power house fit the bill. I purchased one and liked it so much I purchased another one. If you are looking for a great sounding speaker don't waste your money on $700+ for an 8 inch speaker from other companies. They have a Class D amplifier which sound great. The app works well so you can adjust the eq via your phone. Bluetooth works well a long with linking 2 or more together. Linking only works with Bluetooth. This is a good buy.

Don’t let the small size fool you. This little guy is a beast. More than adequate for an intimate concert. Buy a pair and you can handle gigs of 100 or more. Highly recommended.

We used this as both a PA system and as a Bluetooth speaker for events. It is VERY loud and the sound is awesome.

Très bon son clair et puissant j ai eut un peu de mal à configurer avec l'application .mon garçon m'a aidé avec l'application. Je vous le recommande ils sont un pesant mais camem. Je suis très satisfait de mon achat.

Compré esta bocina porque hago presentaciones en solitario como cantante y requiero algo fácil de mover pero también con calidad. Ya probé la bocina en casa y se escucha excelente. Yo conecté una consola de 4 canales en ella un microfono y mi cel. Y la potencia y la claridad, la verdad es sorprendente. Quiero otraaaaaaaaaaa! Les comparto un video para que vean como se escucha en transmision en vivo, en un lugar cerrado tiene potencia y lo uso a la mitad de su capacidad.

La relación calidad-precio de este altavoz es fabulosa!!! Realmente si tuviera que comprar otros altavoces no lo dudaría y volvería a comprar los mismos... Pequeños pero super poderosos!!! Para usar con un par de sub se pasan!!! Yo los uso para amplificar la orquesta en fiestas de pueblo al aire libre junto con un par mas de altavoces de 15 y van de lujo!!! Un sonido espectacular y muy nítido...

Desde que llego. Este equipo llegó muy bien protegido. En su caja original dentro de una caja más grande de Amazon. Conforme vas abriendo el paquete te das cuenta de la calidad del material de su bafle. Es algo pesado a pesar de que no es grande. Eso me da la impresión de la calidad de su bocina. Una vez conectado es fácil de emparejarlo con el celular para reproducir la música, que es bastante nítida y potente. Sobre todo las rancheras que separa muy bien todos los instrumentos y se oye como en vivo. Una vez conectado el micrófono reproduces la música y mientras cantas por el micrófono se oye la voz y la música a la par. O sea que no se separan. Este equipo es ideal para el canto. Tiene un puerto para conectar tu teléfono o tablet y cargarlo allí mismo para que no se baje su batería. Y bueno el precio lo vale y el esfuerzo también. Lo volvería a comprar una vez más y hasta obsequiarte a alguien esta belleza. Espero la compren por que vale cada peso
