I just received my PRIME order of two sets of 6 Libby Glasses. Came on time and I am drinking from one as I write this review. One glass came with a somewhat noticeable defect but as they are everyday glasses it is so not worth sending it back. I read many reviews before purchasing these glasses and I am amazed how many of you thought they were too big. What were you expecting a shot glass size? these are by no means too big. The 18oz size is too the rim and no one pours that much anyway. These are perfectly sized everyday glasses...not a work of art but properly priced. My wife and I drink and serve a lot of wine to our friends and we will have no worries at all using these glasses. So please get over yourselves all you wine snobs. One reviewer said it best...these glasses will hold the wine until you finish drinking the wine. If you are looking to impress your guests with fine crystal then look elsewhere but if you need something that will do the job then these are the right glasses. One note to amazon or Libby...you may consider putting the height of the glass on the ad so many who thought they were too big would have a better feel for it before ordering. Buy 'em I will re-review in a month or so once these glasses have been put to the test

Given the absurdly reasonable price of about $6 per glass, I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these glasses. They have a good weight and thickness and provide a generous drink of red wine. I endorse this product wholeheartedly!

The glasses are big and gorgeous, and even though they were all just thrown loose into a box with NO padding or protection at all they weren't damaged by the shipping process. One of the glasses is defective though, with a warp in the glass that left it with a white bump. It isn't chipped or cracked or sharp at all and the inside of the glass is unaffected, but the outside has this weird white glass wart on it. Plus on all of the glasses you can see subtle seams down the stems and on the bases, so overall these glasses just aren't worth what you pay for them. I don't need the fanciest glasses so I don't care enough to return them and roll the dice again to see if I can get a non-defective product, it just wouldn't be worth the time. So if you're not picky, these glasses are big and sturdy and look as advertised. But if you want nice looking wine glasses of a higher quality, I'd definitely look elsewhere.

I bought these as a present for my brother in law. He was very excited and appeared to be happy with the quality. I read many reviews on many wine glasses before purchasing these so let me break it down. - for price, it's hard to beat the fact that these look nice and come as 6 instead of 4 - it's a large goblet shape, not too big, not too small. They are about as large as you can get without being dramatically oversized (my preference :) - my major issue was they seemed to be thicker glass. Which is great for durability and in a house with kids (ie my brother in law). They still look nice, not cheap. But for me, I love the look and feel of ultra thin wine glasses and had I ordered these for myself I would have returned it Ultimately, it's perfect if you are looking for cheaper, durable wine glasses.

I've seen a lot of reviews that say these are BIG. Yes, they're big, but they're wonderful to pour into, pleasant to drink from and they just look cool. I would not say they're "too big". I like the size a lot. If you're curious about how much they'll hold, just measure some liquid out in a measuring cup and you'll see. They're 18oz, but of course you probably won't want to fill them to the brim with wine. These are your typical "oversized" wine glasses and they fit a nice, comfortable amount of drink in them. Really, only problem regarding the size is storage. I don't have a rack for wine glasses so these just go in a cabinet.. They take up a ton of room. I wouldn't knock them down a star for that though. I've put them through my dish washer many times and they come out happy and un-chipped. Seem very sturdy and they stand up nice and stable. Nice stems on them too for holding.

So far so good. Using these about a month. No issues. I recommend them.

These glasses are just right. They look nice but they're not fragile with thin glass like others I've had. Perfect size too. Unless you're looking for fancy glasses with thin glass, these are for you. Update: I've had these for 6 months now and they're still going strong, in fact ive ordered a second set. Last week one fell over in the sink. It didn't break. Most wine glasses would have shattered. Update: my cleaning lady just knocked over the stack of glasses and it was very loud but not one of them broke!

This is perfect as described.
