Kaytee Clean & Cozy White Paper Bedding, Made for Small Animals, 49.2 Liters

I like this Kaytee brand of bedding. So soft for my guinea pigs and I combine it with shredded kiln-dried pine bedding in their cage/enclosure. Really absorbent and doesn't get smelly over the week between cage cleanings. Amazon has a good price on this...better than my local pet store. Great quality product! It really is clean and cozy!

This bedding is perfect for small animals. It’s very soft, fluffy, and comfortable, making it great for nesting. I love that it’s low dust and does a great job controlling odors, which keeps the habitat cleaner longer. The large 49.2-liter bag lasts a good while and is easy to fluff and spread. My pets seem comfortable and happy with it—definitely a product I keep repurchasing!

We really like this bedding for our hamster. It's a really neutral smell, doesn't stink up our closet like some brands do, really absorbs moisture well in the cage. Seems very soft and thick and good quality. It's a great value for the cost as it's a large package of bedding. Our hamster, Porky, really loves this specific bedding, as well as wood shavings.

The only bedding I will buy for my pet hampster’s and rats. Great quality and scent and dye free. This is very fluffy and looks great in their cages. The size is perfect for multiple pet owners and can be placed on auto ship so you never run out. His bedding makes for some happy fur babies.

Over a year ago, I started purchasing 2-3 bags a month thru Amazon Subscribe and Save. Generally, the bags are good quality & dust free. However, the previous 2 months were of such poor quality with a dust content so significant, the white bedding was brown… worse was the dust plume & smell. My GP went into sneezing fits, as did I. Initially, I tried mixing with a locally purchased bags. However, the two bags received last month were so bad, I just threw them away & purchased locally. Obviously, bedding is expensive & I had decided to end this subscription. However, with May being a crazy, busy month, I forgot. I was thrilled to discover the 2 bags this month are CLEAN! This is the only brand of white bedding available on Amazon that is soft, absorbent, dye free… & usually dust free… and also a reasonable price. I change my Guinea pig bedding far more than is probably necessary, thus bedding is a huge expense. This product is available in larger size bags at a fairly reasonable price. Given delivery is of high importance for me, I will continue the subscription, re-evaluating on month to month basis.

I've been using Kaytee Clean 'n Cozy for my guinea pigs for years. Currently I am using this in a cage that houses one intact male guinea pig. It's soft and nearly 100% dust-free. While it may not have the best odor control compared to some other products, it is quite absorbent. I never worry if my little guy eats a piece or two because its not dyed, scented and are very tiny, tissuepaper-like shreds of paper material. I have used the "natural" color as well, I just prefer the original/white because I can see potty spots better (for spot cleaning). I can go a week before needing a full cage clean and spot clean 1-2x/wk otherwise (I could probably go longer without a full cage clean, but I am a little ocd about keeping it clean for my piggies). NEVER use pine/cedar bedding for your guinea pigs or rabbits! Paper bedding is the way to go. If you need more odor control, you can always sprinkle a *TINY* amount of baking soda in the popular potty spots - ONLY A TINY amount is needed! - and then put down bedding. Side note: I have also used Kaytee granular bedding... original (non-scented) is ok... STAY AWAY FROM SCENTED (lavender & rose) VERSIONS! The scents are OVERWHELMING and DANGEROUS for small animals/rodents! My last 2 piggies became extremely lethargic and dull upon first use of Kaytee Lavender Granular bedding. For the love of your pets... stick to basic, unscented paper bedding! Get over the fact that THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOME SMELL IN THE CAGE REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER KIND OF BEDDING YOU USE... keep odor down by frequently cleaning!

We love this bedding for our hamster. It's not dusty and really holds the smell. I sit right next to the cage and can't smell anything. I have thought about trying another bedding option but this one works SO WELL, we'll stay with it.

I was extremely disappointed with this product, as it contained numerous plastic fragments, posing a serious safety risk to my hamster. I contacted Amazon customer service to request compensation, but they declined and insisted on a return - even though the bedding had already been opened and distributed in the enclosure. This response was unhelpful and reflects poorly on the quality of their customer support. I expected better from both the product and the service.

This is a great quality bedding, it isn’t 100% dust free but is better than most beddings. It holds my hamsters burrows well and i would recommend it!

Este sustrato de papel blanco ha sido una gran elección para mi hamster. La calidad es excelente: es suave, libre de polvo y muy absorbente, lo que mantiene la jaula limpia y sin olores por más tiempo. Otra gran ventaja es que viene en mucha cantidad, por lo que dura bastante y tiene una muy buena relación calidad-precio. He probado otros sustratos antes, pero este sin duda es el mejor en términos de comodidad y limpieza para mis mascotas. Si buscas un sustrato seguro, cómodo y eficiente, este es la mejor opción. Totalmente recomendable.
