Broken after 1 use
Broke after first use. Lever handle jammed and would not move after only punching 10 pages. Returned as I was unable to use again.

Do not use automatic electric spiral insertion roller. It simply does not work.
Great and inexpensive spiral binder machine for anyone that has a lot of pamphlets, booklets, articles, instruction manuals, inspection reports or documents that need to be filed. This machine is light weight adjustable for different paper sizes and with a sturdy handle that operates punching hole cutters. On the other side, this machine is failing miserably when it comes to the use of the automated spiral insertion mechanism. It simply does not work. In fact, if you insert the spiral connector into your booklet and press it against the roller on the top of the machine to continue winding your booklet binder through the booklet, it will simply wind your spiral binder in between the roller and the metal housing of the machine and ruin your binder. I just manually insert my binder into the punched holes.

Great to organize loose papers and create bound notebooks
The machine does a great job punching holes for spiral binding. Very reliable and sturdy. Holes are precise, everything aligns well when punching in batches. Just don't over do it on each batch. I don't bother with the coil inserter, as I find it convenient enough to do by hand. It comes with a large supply of coils, but I bought some others to handle larger documents. It's easy, and helps you organize loose papers brilliantly.

A Winner for small jobs.
Well-made, easy to use, and worked just fine for my 68-page document (I made several copies). Although I did have to buy and use1/2" coils, even though the chart on the binder reads 3/8" coils will fit up to 70 pages (it's comes pretty close). The binder comes with a box containing one hundred 3/8" coils and the snipping tool, which works quite well. I'm very pleased with its performance so far.

Love It!!!
Why did I wait so long to buy this?! I am obsessed with my binding machine!!!! I probably should have bought the one that doesn't have the little electric part on top because I have never bothered to use it. I adjusted the margin for my booklets a little, and I am happier with that. I had to adjust the top and bottom margin a bit with the paper guide (this will make more sense if you actually have the machine in front of you). Initially, my papers and covers had a half hole at the bottom. Adjusting this fixed the issue. The only other issue I've had is that I bought some thick, leather-looking plastic covers. The first several books I made with them, I had trouble getting the bottom five or six holes to punch completely--even punching one cover at a time. Since then, I have accidentally positioned my hands on the handle differently, and everything punched fine!!! Like. . . I punched all the rest of the pack of 50 when I was having a good day because I'd had so much trouble in the past. No problems. The trick is to put more weight on the left-hand side of the handle.
