Two days before his final test my son who goes to school in Boston (we live in Los Angeles) told me that his computer charger stopped working. He did not know the model number. Luckily this charger has two heads so it should have worked with different models, He received it in one day and it worked very well. Hoping the test itself went as well also.

Works with Dell Inspiron 18" Notebook
My 10-year-old Dell Inspiron 18" (2-in-1 Model 1810) Notebook was not listed among the long list of compatible models, but the charger output volts, amps and watts were the same, and the connector diameter dimensions were the same, clearly shown in the CONNECTOR COMPATIBILITY CHECK picture (thanks for that picture!). I love my 18" tablet with its wireless keyboard and mouse, so I was happy to find a replacement charger. (Dell customer service was surprisingly helpful. They looked up my PC model number using my PC Service Tag number. They said they did not have the charger, it is obsolete, but I might be able to find an aftermarket seller that has one.)
