Aluminium 50mm Quick Release Plate QR Clamp Fits Arca-Swiss Standard for Tripod Ballhead

This product was shipped and received on time. When I received it, the box looked like it had been open before with seals broken. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the box, just that you could tell it had been opened before. Now for the great news! GET THIS QUICK RELEASE CAMERA MOUNT! You will not be disappointed! It is heavy duty and constructed very well! The fact that it had two levelers on it is a plus! I looked for something to be wrong with it for this price point but I couldn’t find anything negative about it! I have a brand new Sony A7III that will not be subjected to inferior mounts. I have absolutely no concerns about this one at all! Out in the field it works flawlessly! The smooth operation of this very well constructed camera essential is well worth the money. Putting the camera on and off of my tripod is lighting quick and very stable. As a matter of fact, I will be ordering two more for my other tripods. Glad I came upon this. You will be glad as well!

This clamp is perfect, once I filed down my qr plates about 2 mm to fit. My old plates are 41mm square. This clamp says it'll take plates up to 42mm, but that appears to be the extreme width at the bottom of an angle. My plates aren't shaped to a fine point, so they were a little too wide for the space available. Once I filed down their sides to 39mm, they fit this clamp just fine, without affecting their fit on my other clamp, which tightens on the end. This clamp is very secure, after only a half turn of the side screw. -- I see other reviews complaining about the Allen wrench causing problems with the base screw, but I don't see the problem; I just removed the base screw and used the screw that protrudes upward from my tripod heads. I have a couple more tripods I may get this thing for. Very happy with it, after about 10 minutes of filing.

I've used these (I've bought several) to modernize old tripods. They are perfect for that. Do note the removable screw size converter. Considering the cost of similar accessories, these are a bargain. They don't look out-of-place on the best equipment. They are plenty sturdy. I've got one on a classic Bogen 3050, as well as smaller/lighter tripods, and it's up to the task.

Most of the gimbals doesn't have built in ARCA mount. Most of them have their own mount or the video camera style mounts. I have ARCA plates on all my cameras, and I don't like to remove them and change the plates whenever I want to use the gimbals. So decided to get an ARCA mount to add on top of the existing plate on the gimbal. This makes it so much easier for me to switch cameras, mount or remove camera on my gimbals. The only thing is this mount is a bit thick. some of the smaller gimbals will not balance correctly. because the added height. It will be perfect if the thickness is a little thinner.

I am using this with a right angle bracket to mount my Sony cameras with cages with arca base horizontally, and with an 11-inch camera magic arm and it works great. You can also mount this on a VESA monitor stand pole using a "camera screw kit" and some tape (electrical tape works best). Just drill a hole in the middle of the pole cap that is 1/4", take one of those 1/4" to 3/8" adapters, wrap one end in tap so it fits snug in the pole, and screw it through the pole cap into the quick release base. That is quite a bit cheaper than the premade options and more functional for me.

I have a lightweight tripod. I love its removable central column and small size for travel. The only problem was its non-standard quick release ballhead. I bought this Harwerrel Aluminium 50mm Quick Release Plate clamp to replace the tripod clamp. The goal is to be able to use a longer, standard quick release plate that provides better balance and load capacity to the tripod. This clamp's removable screw adapter allowed me to use the old screw from the tripod ballhead so the new clamp can be screwed to the old base. I had to file down the ballhead's clamp base to fit into the bottom niche of the clamp. The clamp fits well after these adjustments. This new clamp allows me to use standard long plates on the tripod. Using long plate helps balance the load and increases the tripod's loading capacity by 60%.

Just needed something cheap for all of my tripods and these worked out well. Nothing special, but impressed for the price. Will probably buy more.

I purchased this to attach my Peak Designs Capture Camera Clip (bag slip) to my Joby Gorilla Tripod for upcoming travels. The Product: -Very strong and tight -Great quality, doesn't feel it will wear out. -Has levels all around for ease. -Comes with an allen key for mounting. -Feels identical to other brands such as Neewer etc. Mounting to Joby Gorilla Tripod: 1. I removed the internal screw from the Harwerrel adapter. 2. Screwed in the Joby mount as normal. 3. Slotted it back into the Joby tripod. 4. Slid the Peak Designs clip in and clamped it on. 5. Easy! Highly recommend from Aus.

I wanted a quick release setup for my copy stand. I bought an Arca Swiss base plate which I attached to the copy stand thread. When screwed on the adjustment screw ended up sitting vertically - perfect. I simply attach an Arca Swiss plate on the camera to finish the easy to use setup.

Works really well on my SmallRig Magic Arm! It's a higher quality piece than what my tripod came with, so I feel like you get your money's worth.
