Not sure what joo joo is in this stuff but it freaking works. the buffalo gnats in arkansas have been horrendous this year and I welp up like a balloon when they bite me. I guess I have sweet blood because I eat so many sweets so I swear they can smell my sweet blood for miles and they attack the second they get a chance. This stuff is so handy and doesn't smell terrible so it is bearable and not greasy when you put it on. love the travel size to throw in your purse too! My family and I all work outside and this is a staple in our truck doors to use each day!! We love this stuff!

Live in Fl and this time of year you can’t go on a walk without being surrounded by hundreds of gnats flying all over. It’s so bad this year that my two year-old son who typically loves being outside , wants nothing to do with it. This product came in today and we just used it before our walk and not a single gnat was in sight. Love that my skin doesn’t feel greasy or like I need a shower, the smell is pleasant and it definitely works. Very happy

It works!! We have a lot of aggravating gnats!!This keeps them off!! Love the way it smells! ( but bugs don’t!) the sprayer on one of the bottles would not pump out right. I just put the liquid in another spray bottle.

My husband and I travel to a lot of tropical places and he is a magnet for mosquitoes, no-see-ums and sand fleas. This is the best repellant we have found. It is light and it smells great (if you like lemongrass) . I normally hate putting on repellant to go out when I have just showered but not with this product as it does not leave and residue on your skin.

On a recommendation from a friend, we used this for the first time last weekend to deter gnats and mosquitoes. It amazes us that it actually works against gnats. DEET doesn't work for them but this did. And it has a pleasant smell. The only drawback might be the atomizer which spits out a few globs with the finer spray.

Im only giving it a 3 star for the fact that it does smell good. I live in a place that has really bad gnats. They don't bite but are VERY annoying. My grandchildren can't enjoy themselves outside because of them buzzing around there heads constantly. So far, I've had this for a week maybe and I've sprayed myself a lot and it hasn't helped any. Now, later in the summer we do get a few mosquitoes so hopefully this will help at least with them. I was really trying to stay away from the other things that have a lot of chemicals.

It saids it is a safe product, spray bottles work well, and... we have found it has worked the best so far. Will plan to purchase again !

I have been using commercial and chemical-grade bug repellents this season and previously. This season, I could no longer stand the idea of spraying myself down with a chemical. What I have been using was in an aerosol can that smelled terrible, was not environmentally friendly, and was oily. Hence I had to look for a better solution, so I found BugSoother and was hopeful this approach would be better for me and the environment. Sadly, it just does not work for me.The reviews are accurate, it smells nice, and I like the idea of the handy spray bottles, which are better than a bulky can. Some user reviews here claim that no oily residue is left on your skin; I did not experience that. The site also claims no oily residue left behind; again not my experience. Even now, as I type this review, there is a sticky, weird feeling residue on my arms and legs. Also, the product site claims that the frequency of reapplication is typically 1 hour and can repel up to 10 hours. That's not the case here. I walk my dog, and when one bug or gnat appears, I spray all over, then less than 3 minutes later, they are back again, and this horrible attack continues until Sophie and I get back indoors.This product did not work for me; I am still being served up as an offering as a tribute to the bugs and gnats every time I walk out with or without this product.
