Hi - Can anyone please tell me if the Small lead is suitable for large hands (sometimes with gloves) … or whether we’d be best going for the medium?

You'd probably be better off with the medium. Small fine for my small hands with gloves but my husband prefers the medium.

The description says lithium ion battery required. What is this for?

Can I ask the dimensions of the clip on size small. It’s for a toy poodle so really don’t want a heavy clip.

The full silver part of the clip is about 4.5 cm. I wouldn’t say it was particularly heavy or bulky but I use it for a wire haired dachshund and it’s the perfect size for her hope this helps a bit

is there meant to be a loud knock/click sound when the lead becomesn taut? I presume it is the mechanism engaging but it is annoying. Faulty?
