ATK150 PocketTo Go Pattern

This pattern is fairly easy to follow. I needed to re-read a few of the steps to understand them. There were also a few instruction corrections/clarifications that I found on-line that helped with the project. After completing the square Pockets to Go, it looked like the picture on the pattern photograph (with my own fabric choice, of course).

I needed to make this for a shop sample for the store at which I teach. It was so easy and fun that I made several more for my home. I use one as a purse/bag insert. Everything is now where I expect it no matter what bag I choose. I use two in my sewing room to hold essential sewing accessories, and one in my bathroom. The instructions are clear. Construction is easy.

My only critique is that the way the designer cuts out the fabric is for ease and is quite wasteful. Otherwise the instructions are clear and it is a nice design.

I looked forward to making the fabric cube and have been disappointed in the lack of detailed directions given in the pattern. It is taking two of us to make sense of these directions and am moving forward slowly.

I was so happy to find a pattern that I could make for my tote bags. Unfortunately this pattern is very poorly written and the instructions are unclear. I have sewed for many years and have followed many patterns but this one was a real puzzle. The illustrations are not clear. If there were clear pictures and easy to follow step by step instructions this pattern would be great. The style and size are perfect for my needs. I would not recommend this pattern. I am going to check the return policy.

Turned out really cute. Instructions were easy to follow. Love how it looks on my sewing/craft table. I was able to match it to my sewing machine cover. Holds lots of things. Be sure to use a really heavy interfacing.

Pattern was fun to make. Looks good.

I was having trouble keeping my notions in order while sewing. I made the cube and discovered how I was able to keep everything at my fingertips and within easy reach.
