I thought after watching tons of TikTok videos that Oh I can do this. Well that was a lie. It didn’t give me the effect I wanted and I’m 90% sure that’s because I did it wrong from using to much maybe. The color I got is beautiful and I loved it a lot. Maybe next time I use it I will try over another color but not over black and baby blue polish.

(I still have to take a q tip and clean up the sides of my nails obviously but) I’ve only used the pearl chrome so far because I can’t get the mermaid one open. I put Opi’s Samoan sand on as a base and then used the applicator to put on the pearl chrome and used a clear coat on top. I like it a lot! The pearl chrome is small, but you don’t need a lot when applying

I’ve not tried the “mermaid” powder. I mainly purchased for the pearl powder and found that it was more of a full coverage chrome than a sheer pearl as shown in the pictures. I couldn’t see the underlying color at all… So, that was disappointing. I think the other one may give the sheer appearance. I will update once I’ve tried it.

The mermaid chrome doesn’t even open, like it’s glued shut. Barely anything in there anyway, it already looks empty. Rip off.
