No flavor, and there is a scoop
I found that there was really no flavor to this, which is what I like. It didn't dissolve totally for me in room temperature water, so I did have a little grittiness in my mouth after drinking it. There is a scoop in there, but you might want to use a teaspoon to search for it. It's very tiny and buried in the powder.

The cleanest and best Mg Citrate supplement in my opinion
It perhaps is the best Mg Citrate supplement specially for ppl who want to consume pure Mg supplement without additives due to health or dietary concerns. It is certainly TASTELESS and had a grainy texture. It does dissolve in water and you can add it to any other liquid without any after taste. I find it effective in promoting muscle relaxation and digestive health specifically. If you are less concerned about bowel movement and more concerned about sleep quality and nerve relaxation then perhaps you should consider Mg Glycerinate or even the cheapest form of Mg (mg oxide) NOT Citrate (specially if you already have loose stools/diarrhea).

Powder is not as convenient to take as capsules, but is equally effective
When I bought these, my main criterion was to get the cheapest price per gram of magnesium citrate. I didn't realize that this magnesium citrate was in powder form. Okay, stupid me. It says it in plain English that it is powder. I didn't even think that powder would be an option for this type of medication. It was listed among all the other magnesium citrate capsule offerings. Anyway, when it arrived, I decided to give it a fair chance. Immediately I encountered problems. Magnesium citrate powder does not seem to dissolve easily in water. If you want to drink it with another liquid, it has to be fairly viscous to hold the magnesium powder in suspension. But rules out things like orange juice and soda. I discovered accidentally that just ingesting the powder in my mouth and letting it slowly find its way down my esophagus to my stomach was not a bad way to take this medication. I have the feeling that this method of taking the magnesium is possibly more effective than letting it go straight to my stomach. It seems to prevent leg cramps a little bit better than taking pills. I don't know why this would be and maybe it's just my imagination. So far as efficacy in preventing leg cramps at night this magnesium citrate does the job as good as or better than anything that I've taken before. It's not as convenient as taking capsules. The little measuring spoon is not very helpful. It is so small that it gets lost in the powder and has to be fished out after every use. I found that I need to use two of the little measuring spoons to be effective against nighttime cramps, versus the one spoonful that is recommended. It seems that two of the tiny spoonfuls is the equivalent of one standard half - teaspoon measure. So, I ended up just using a 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon. It was much more convenient. Overall, it works fine in mitigating night time cramps, which I guess is the central issue. Its drawback is that it is less convenient to use than capsules. I'm not sure if it is more effective but it seems to be at least as effective as capsules. So far as magnesium citrate compared to magnesium oxide, I have found the citrate, whether in capsule form or in the powder form, to be much more effective than magnesium oxide, which doesn't seem to work at all for me.

Nutricost Tests All Their Products! Read!
Debating/researching what brand to buy? I did the same for many, many days on supplements. Read below! I love that Nutricost tests all their products. You can literally contact them, with the LOT# on the bottle and they will send you test results. Why is that important? Many companies for one do not provide tests results if asked, you will usually get ignored or receive a generic response. It is also important because a lot of supplements can have heavy metals/contaminates in them and there is no warning of this. An example would be, almost all Ceylon Cinnamon across the world will have some type of contaimenants no matter what. I purchased some from Nutricost, contacted them about what tests have been done, they asked for the LOT# on the bottle and I received the test results the next day. The tests showed all levels of contaimenants were VERY low / in the range we're the body will not be effected. Many spices have contaimenants so keep that in mind! We tend to cook with them and have no idea. Make sure to look up Third Party Heavy Metal Spice test results, you will find a few lists of which brands are okay to buy. One of the very few Supplement Companies I trust! BUY NOW! :)

Doesn’t dissolve
Settles to the bottom of the glass like sand which makes it difficult and unpleasant to swallow.

Dissolved really well
Have not seen results yet but it is tasteless and dissolves even in my iced coffee. Just learned that it's activated by vitamen C. So I started to take a suppliment.
