Low Cost, Lightweight, Fixed my Hand Pain. Can quickly switch between two computers
I was looking for a wireless mouse that was lightweight and gaming capable. I needed it to be very lightweight due to hand pain (I've tried things like vertical mouses etc and really lightweight mouses are the only thing that helps). I also have two desktops so I wanted to be able to quickly switch between the two with one mouse. This works perfectly and I've been using it for a year now. Battery lasts a long time too and you can plug it in if you need to use it when the battery is low.

Holy, this thing is solid!
Note: I had to return my first unit because it bricked during the software update. Update it with the wireless dongle first and DO NOT touch anything until it's done updating. Amazon made replacing it a breeze, so no worries there. CMs rma would've taken weeks but amazon got me a replacement in a few days. Review: Coolermaster really upped their game with this one! If you tried the old mm710 or 11, this thing is a cut above both. A few notable changes: - the holes are gone! - it's wireless but the included cable is still usable - the coating is so much nicer than it's predecessors, fairly similar to the new viper pro or DAV3. - it's solid, no creaking, cracking, rattling and it just feels premium in the hand. - the mouse feet are WAYYYY better than the ones they used on the 710 and 711, don't need to replace them. Although, they are slightly scratchy out of the box. If you're new to this lineup, the shape may be jarring. It fills the hand similarly to the xm1 but is much narrower and shorter but the rear end is plumper if that makes sense. It's like if the viper mini got a butt lift lol. If I remember, my hands are 19x10 and I relaxed claw/fingertip this incredibly comfortably. This one's my new main and for the price, it honestly blows some of the competitors out of the water. Coolermaster really out did themselves here!

A few minor issues holding back a fantastic mouse
I've gone on a bit of a mouse spree lately, picking up about 5 mice to try out. This mouse was recommended as great for its price, and I would tend to agree with that. It's a bit smaller than mice that I've used, but is nice and lightweight, and feels good in my hand. I use a hybrid claw/palm grip, and have fairly large hands. I was able to comfortably use this mouse. The software for it is pretty decent, and I was able to configure it to my likings without any issues. The software did require that a firmware update be pushed before I could use it, which I appreciate as I always want to be on the latest firmware for my peripherals. As for the negatives, there's two things that hold this mouse back from being my daily. First, the sensor position is weird, and it throws off my aim in FPS games. Not anything major, and something I could get used to, but I'm not that invested in this mouse. The second issue is the back button has a ton of over-travel. It will go fully inside the body of the mouse and keep going if I kept pressing on it. It's bad enough that it's noticeable with normal use. The saving grace of this mouse, and the reason I'm keeping it, is the bluetooth connectivity. I'm going to throw this in my laptop bag and have it be my travel mouse. For that use, it's fantastic, and I'm happy that I picked it up.

things i would change, cooler master take note for version 2
ISSUES WITH MOUSE: -scroll wheel sometimes scrolls up by itself when you scroll down -bad mouse skates that are harder in some places and start to scratch on a hard mouse pad (they should just be small circles in every corner) NEGATIVES: -default button response time is set to max(6ms instead of 1ms) in software, BUT IT ALSO AFFECTS SENSOR LATENCY -top of mouse too wide, increasing grip width which is terrible compared to viper mini, mm712 base/bottom of mouse is identical to viper mini and mini feels a lot better to aim with because of narrower grip -shell still vibrates when clicking, not as much as mm710 did -click latency not set to 1ms by default even though mouse uses optical switches???? -battery too large adding to weight, charging every night wouldn't be an issue: every1 charges their phones every night anyway PROS: -best wireless mouse on market for price -good weight -optical switches THINGS TO CHANGE: -make mouse 1 and 2 lower to ground and make clicks lighter -make top of mouse narrower (narrow bottom doesn't matter when wide top forces a wider, more uncomfortable grip compared to viper mini, making it worse for aim) -REMOVE SOFTWARE & MAKE PLUG AND PLAY, why is there even an option to change click latency when using optical switches???? SHOULD BE LOWEST BY DEFAULT (its 6ms by default instead of 1ms, 600% increase in latency for no reason lol) -add at least 2000hz wireless polling rate -remove rgb, it just adds to weight and you cant even see it since its covered by the hand anyway -add battery led indicator either on top of mouse around scroll wheel or on left side of mouse above thumb so its noticeable -set default dpi to 1600 -lower wireless click and sensor latency as much as possible, try to at least match razer

Feels good, solid, good clicks, good performance.
Great mouse. Honestly CoolerMaster mice have surprised me. I have had some other higher end brands (so they advertise anyway) and this one really just feels great all around, performs great, and works well. I highly recommend this wireless mouse to anyone looking for a good solid gaming mouse. The MasterPlus software (not required to use the mouse but is required to adjust settings) works well also. My mouse needed a firmware update out of the box. I've used the G305 wireless, and the Razer Orochi as comparisons. I prefer this one. Also the price on this one beats the others (if on sale, definitely). The G305 is comparable, however does not have option to use Bluetooth if you want to do that, or if you say, lose the adapter or something. It's a brick without the adapter. I had an adapter fail on mine and that ruined it. Anyway, great mouse. Really like it.

Poor QC
Shape, GREAT. Clicks however, feel hollow with little to no travel, which feels quite weird. Left click had pre travel issues after a month of use though. Battery life is great with great performance. I prefer the high sensor position. Cooler master also fired all of their mice people though, so I don't expect it to be great contacting them.

Disappointing Battery Life and Unconventional Sensor Placement
I recently purchased a mouse that has left me quite disappointed for multiple reasons. First and foremost, its battery life is significantly lacking, lasting only 2 to 4 hours during active gaming sessions. Additionally, the sensor placement, which is positioned above the center of the mouse, deviates from the norm and often proves more hindering than helpful. The limited battery capacity severely impacts my gaming experience, forcing frequent interruptions to recharge the mouse. This not only disrupts my focus but also diminishes the overall enjoyment I derive from gaming. Considering the demands of modern gaming, a mouse should ideally provide an extended battery life to accommodate prolonged sessions, which this mouse fails to deliver. It may be suitable for casual users with minimal gaming requirements, but falls short for those seeking extended playtime. Furthermore, the unconventional sensor placement adds to the frustration. Positioned above the center of the mouse, it deviates from the standard configuration found in most mice. As a result, it often proves more of an obstacle than a convenience. This unconventional placement can impede precise movements and negatively impact overall performance, especially for users accustomed to the traditional sensor position. On a positive note, the mouse's ergonomic design and absence of unnecessary buttons are satisfactory. The overall shape of the mouse meets my preferences, providing a comfortable grip without any superfluous features. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this mouse to avid gamers or individuals seeking extended gaming sessions. The disappointingly short battery life and unconventional sensor placement make it an unsuitable choice for those with significant gaming demands. While the ergonomic design and lack of extra buttons are commendable, these positives are overshadowed by the critical flaws. I hope future iterations of this product address these issues to provide a more satisfying user experience.

Perfect Gaming Mouse
I don’t know how this mouse is not talked about more. It is extremely light to the point that I forget it is even in my hand when playing most video games. It charges and holds a charge very well. The RGB is actually really nice and the battery indicator feature is very convenient (as an RBG hater). Coming from a logitech mouse, the Optical Switches are phenomenal and do not double click even after extended use. The software for the mouse is amazing as well, providing you with literally endless RGB and switch adjusting options. This mouse beats our every mouse I was looking at for a fraction of the price.

Amazing Shape, great price, but questionable quality
I got to say I loved the shape when I had the MM711, then I decided that I want a wireless mouse. I tried different mice but nothing compared to this shape, so I went ahead and bought the MM712, and I did not disappoint me! However sadly it has been less than a year now and the scroll is having issues, but that did not force me to change the mouse yet, well see. Overall I love this mouse and I think it is perfect for me.

Fixes build quality issues from the MM710/11, super light clicks.
I have tried all the small gaming mice and I always preferred my MM710's shape. Unfortunately I got a first batch copy of that mouse and experienced many of the well documented build quality issues with it. This mouse fixes pretty much all of them and doesn't have any holes for better comfort while not adding too much weight. The clicks and mouse scroll wheel are very light compared to all the mice I've used so it takes a few days to get used to and its great after that. Crucially there is no wheel issue I had on my MM710 where it would often scroll down when you pushed it up. I wish the coating was the same as the old MM710 and also that the battery life was longer but other than that, this is my end game mouse, those issues are nitpicking.

Don't fix something that isn't broken
Coolermaster is back at it again with ruining a perfectly good product on paper. The sensor placement is horrible on this mouse; if you're used to other mice, Logitech, razer or any other company that uses centred sensor placement, then you will miss your shots in shooter games such as (Valorant, in my case). Pros: Clicks, no squeaking, good build quality, value per performance (good price). stock skates are not bad, better than gpx stock skates imo. Cons: Post-travel on all buttons. Scroll wheel - seriously? How do we go backward from the mm710 scrollwheel (that wasn't the greatest), but still, I'd take the MM710 scroll wheel over this any day. There is no tactility, no smoothness it just exists to give you sadness. Not sure if existent with other people's copies but my copy would trigger MB3 when pressing MB1 while holding MB2 (Happens in Modern Warfare II (2022 Version). Biggest con is the sensor placement, absolutely trash. Well with all that said I've ended up returning my copy, if anyone read this far I would only recommend this mouse to people that use steelseries mice with front sensor placement so that your brain doesn't have an adaptation period to using a different sensor placement.
