I love the purple and orange colors! These lights are perfect for Halloween! I'm going to use them as indoor lights but you can also use them outdoors. They are icicle style lights which I really enjoy. They are long enough to hang around my doorway or entry way. There are some extra bulbs that these lights come with in case some burn out. Definitely can't wait until next Halloween to use these!

I love the colors on these lights. Perfect addition to the Halloween decor on our front porch. The length is as described & fit just where I needed it. I did notice that a couple of the bulbs do not work right out of the package. There are spares though, but I wonder how long the string will last if I am already replacing bulbs when new. The lights did get very warm.. I wouldn't say hot enough to burn my hand, but definitely felt some heat. I plugged inside & left them on the kitchen counter for an hour before placing outside... just to be sure. I don't think I would be comfortable placing them on anything that is flammable like fabric, dry plants or an area that leaves may fall on it. I tend to error on the side of caution.

Was super excited to use these for Halloween, but after plugging them in inside to test them out I noticed a burning smell. I was trying to figure out where it was coming from and discovered it was the light strand. I unplugged it immediately and even hovering my hand above the strands I could feel heat. Touching the actual bulbs they were hot to hold. Not just warm. Hot. I had purchased another strand too because my plan was to connect them (instructions say you’re able to connect a number of the strands together) and that one also got very hot within ten minutes. The bulbs are supposed to be LED and LED should not get hot like these are. The burning smell is what really concerned me though. If that was only after a few minutes I would not trust it to be ok plugged in for hours. Instructions also say for indoor or outdoor use but personally I do not think it’s safe to use these strands anywhere, due to the burning smell both strands gave off as well as the super hot lights.

When I purchased this item it said 30 feet. It was maybe 9 feet. Fortunately I was able to make it work for my needs but I was surprised. Even checked the listing at the time. It seems it was made more accurate since Halloween time.

The lights are nice. When I first plugged them up I could feel the heat coming from them. They do get a little warm after having them on for a while. I was planning on using them for outdoor Halloween decorations, but I wouldn’t be able to not worry about them catching on fire. So I’m not going to use them. Also, the purple is more of a magenta than a purple.

I got these for Halloween but out of season so I have not actually hung them up yet - can confirm they all worked out of the box when I plugged them in to test - the orange lights have a nice matted finish which I haven't seen before (look nice although I don't think it makes a difference from afar) - will update this review if I discover any issues once they're actually up!

Yes, I didn't order for the correct holiday, but I'm severely color blind & all i knew was that we need a short string of lights, preferably the icicle kind, for over the front door. I didn't even think to read the description... Lol, that being said, they look great along the underside of my workshop canopy! remote and everything work perfectly. 🤙 #NiftyWoodCreations

The bulbs are painted and right out of the box, some of the bulbs are half painted. Cheap crap!
