4711 by Muelhens for Men, 1.7 oz Eau De Cologne

This is definitely a throwback scent with an old time barbershop vibe. I wish it had longer staying power, but I can't complain due to the pleasant scent, reasonable price and large size bottles available.

Got this because Napoleon used it 👍🏻. It’s Not a deep musk, more like a refined middle, sharper smell that honestly “smells expensive”. Passably noticeable, but you don’t “walk into it”. I would absolutely say this is good for any age of man.

A classic fragrance that is perfect for a quick refresher or an after shower scent. This is more suited for older folks in my opinion but if you like fragrances like Neroli Portofino then this is a safe buy. This is an EDC concentration so don’t expect much performance, but that’s not really what this is intended for. There’s a reason this is still made after all of these years, give it a shot if you like light fresh citrus/white floral fragrances.

I really like this. My wife does not particularly. Everyone is saying citrus, orange, and woodsy scents. For me, the dominant note is floral and it is VERY honeysuckle. If you grew up around honeysuckle, you will recognize it. It's floral without being feminine. It it is fresh, bright, and fairly light. It strongly reminds me of a soap I can't quite put my finger on. It's more a quick refresh, splash-on then a lasting personal scent. I don't know how long I'll use it given that it doesn't do it for the wife (so what's the point?), but I'm happy to have tried it. Something intriguing trying the "original" cologne, and one of the oldest commercially made scents in the world.

Here's the story: I have tried shopping for men's colognes, for myself, a number of times. Usually, I can't stand the stuff. I have taken whiffs of designer colognes, at Macy's, no less. Not really impressed. Usually, smells the same to me, like a used car salesman, with slicked back hair, and a loud suit. Kind of heavy, too. In fact, no matter where I shopped, sales, discounts outlets, nope. I got a link in my FaceBook feed to this product. I've never noticed it in stores around here- maybe I have to look harder. So I bought a tiny bottle, blind, taking a chance, for $13.70, with the tax. If I didn't like it, I figured I'd use it for car air freshener. The moment I opened it up- wow! What a difference! This is way better than the overpriced junk they are pushing! Nice and fresh. Other stuff I feel would often clash with food aromas, for example. It's marketed as 'unisex.' Really, I think the usual designer 'men's' stuff smells more effeminate. 4711, is kind of neutral/attractive. By comparison, miles better than Old Spice, and lots nicer than Royal Copenhagen. One of the better things I've spent my hard-earned cash on!

Worthless product. Takes many sprays to even notice the scent which is a strange unpleasant smell. The scent (what little there is of it) is gone in about 15 minutes. If you'd like to smell nice for a few hours, this product will NOT do it for you. Buyer beware! Spend your money on something else.

Try putting this on right out of the shower. It smells so crisp and clean then you can add your cologne afterwards

I bought this from seller BSLLC USA and received item as described, in perfect condition. I already set my expectations that this is just a mild cologne and will not last long so I bought the smaller size. This smells like clean lemon cologne, not cleaner type but more on a zesty fresh burst. I use this to layer my floral or gourmand perfumes that I want to tone down and freshen. This lasts for an hour max on skin and clothes. This is great for an out of the shower freshie or just a slater shave for men. It's totally unisex though and could be used by all ages and for casual spring summer occasions or just lounging at home.

This is a very refreshing cologne, nice subtle fragrance, especially good for freshening up in summer.

Sent très bon mais ne tient pas. S'évapore très vite ce qui est propre au produit mais surprend quand même.

Es un perfume que cumple una función muy específica: Refrescar por un corto tiempo. Ideal para comenzar el día, o antes de dormir, luego de una ducha rápida. Si la buscas para eso, es magnífica. Tiene unos cítricos brillantes y limpios. Nada estridentes. También para quienes coleccionamos pefumes es una pieza que no puede faltar por su herencia. Dura menos de 1 hra de proyección, y no está hecha para que la portes todo el día, sin tener que reaplicar varias veces a lo largo de la jornada. No sobrevive a los aromas de otros perfumes actuales. Yo quedé satisfecho, pues cumple para lo que la adquirí.
